Rhian's POV
I've been staring on my phone for like 10 minutes. Hindi ko alam kong tatawagan ko ba ang old manager ko. Si Samantha Reyes or Sam for short. Ugh. She knew what happened to me. Siya ang kaisa-isang sinabihan ko about sa pag alis ko. I have to do this. I NEED to do this.
I dialled her number...
"Samantha Reyes' speaking" she said from the other line.
I gulped a couple of times bago ako sumagot, "Sam..." I said.
"Waa-it. I know your voice. Rhi is that you?" She asked.
"Yes. I'm so sorry." I blurted out. Di ko alam pero basta nalang yun lumabas sa bibig ko. Alam ko na nagalit din siya saakin. Who wouldn't? Iniwan ko silang lahat sa init nang controversy.
"Wala na yun Rhi. Tapos na. Ano kailangan mo?" Tanong nito. Naramdaman ko ang mejo malamig na pagkasabi niya.
"Can we talk? Maybe over a cup of coffee." I offered.
"Sure." She said and told me where up to.
I suddenly grab my bag. Pagbaba ko ay nakita ko si Joel, he's watching.
"Joel. Makikipagkita sana ako sa manager ko. But I can't get a cab. You know..." I said.
"Got it. Here's the key." He said. I smiled at bumaba sa parking space para makita sasakyan niya.
It took me 30 minutes bago makarating sa isang coffee shop. Mukhang exclusive ang coffee shop at may reservation pa. This is unusual shop tho.
Not so far away, nakita ko agad si Sam. She's still sexy, damn this girl!
Nagbeso kami and smiled to each other wickedly.
"What made you come back?" She asked right away.
"Sam. Sorry talaga ha. Di ko lang talaga matanggap non na mahal ko na si Glaiza. Halos mabaliw ako sa kapipilit noon sa sarili ko na straight ako. Wala akong naisip na ibang paraan kundi ang iwan siya at mawala ako sa mundo niya kasi baka sakaling bumalik ako sa dati." Maluha-luhang sabi ko sakanya.
"Nakipagkita ako sayo kasi marami akong tanong na gusto masagot at may gusto din sana akong gawin." Dagdag ko.
"I was mad. Pero hindi na ngayon. Sarili mo namang buhay yan eh. So ano ang tanong mo?" Aniya.
"Ano ba talagang nangyari kay Glaiza? Sa tatlong taong pagkawala ko?" I finally asked.
"Hindi ko alam kung gusto mo talagang malaman pero sasabihin ko na. Victory Party nang TRMD nung umalis ka at hindi kami sinipot. She waited for you. One, two, three hours or should I say the whole midnight. Di siya umalis sa venue. Siya at si Chynna ang naiwan kasi sabi niya darating ka daw. May usapan daw kayo na darating ka, may plano kayo." She said.
Flashback
"Good job everyone! We did it!!! I'm expecting everyone na makapunta sa Victory party. Thank you so much and for the last time PACK UP!" Direct Dom.
Agad agad naman kaming nagsitayuan at nag ayos na nang mga gamit. Apat na araw na diretso ang taping namin as in walang uwian. Kaya halos mga pagod na ang kapwa ko artista.
Nag aayos ako nang gamit ko nang may yumakap sa likod ko, I tilted my head and saw her.
"Hey." I said, "Baka may makakita saatin."
"Nasa tent tayo Rhi. Wag kang mawawala sa Victory Party ha?" She asked.
"Ah-hm su-re. Of course." I said. May flight na ako sa araw na yon. Tinapos ko lang talaga ang TRMD. Because ayoko namang mabitin ang serye dahil lang saakin.
"Cool. Tapos sa place ko tayo nila Batchi ha? Walang aayaw. Punta ka okay?" She asked. I nodded as a respond.
*A/N Batchi - Chynna. Iisa lang, they are using the names from TRMD some time*
"Promise me love." She commanded.
"I-i promise." I said. And she hugged me again. That brought thousand currents all over me.
This is exactly the reason why, masyado akong affected sa bawat gesture niya. Hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko na may maramdaman. She didn't told me exactly na she loves me but her actions were screaming. We don't have assurance, ni hindi ko din alam kung nag aassume lang ba ako.
End of flashback
"Are you still listening?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, go on." I replied.
"Yun nga, she waited for you. I don't know what happened next. Nauna na ako sakanila, because I can't stay there seeing her hoping to death na mismong ako alam kong hindi ka darating. After TRMD, Glaiza gets the peak of her career. She became the most wanted for endorsements, and I bet most bankable either. If I'm not mistaken after that victory party, isa nalang ang tinanggap niya na tvc shoot. Kaso nagkaproblema. The day before i-on air yung tvc ay kasabay non ang mga kumakalat na photos niya na lasing. Day after day, new photos are coming out. Worse to worst."
"Is it all because of me?" I sobbed, as if I didn't know the real answer.
"Yes, you were. She was chased by that company then. Alam mo naman sa contract niya. But she never answered any of the interviews. Kung hindi si Gina, si Chynna ang sasalo sa mga tanong. Few months after nawala na siya sa industry even her manager confirmed it. What never ends were those drunkard issues." She said.
Di na ako makapag salita, as if I am currently at the court na naghihintay nang hatol. Ganon pala ako kasama?
"May kumalat pang video noon. Kaso agad nilang pinalinis." She added.
"Ano namang video yon?" Desididong tanong ko.
"Basta lasing siya non umiiyak tapos pilit niyang sinasabing babalikan mo siya and you promised daw to her. And there, na confirm nang lahat na ikaw nga ang dahilan." Sam said.
Napaiyak na ako nang tuluyan, gosh Glai. Why didn't I accept the fact right away? Why did I run away?
"Years passed walang nagbago sakanya. She became worse than she'd been. She lost everything, lahat nang napundar niya. Ang mga bahay at mga restaurants niya." Lalo lang akong nasasaktan.
"Oh my God, I'm such a bitch. Hindi ko inaasahan lahat yan." I'm crying.
"Okay na yan Rhi, I'm sure you heard naman na bumalik na siya. So ibig sabihin okay na siya. She decided na maging okay na talaga siya. Ano nga ulit gusto mong gawin?" She asked.
"I'm not sure if this is right. I want to do a press conference to answer all their questions since they knew na nasa Pilipinas na ako. I wanna clear things up at iiwanan ko na yung showbiz formally. Babalik nako sa Vegas after. Lalayo muna ako sa mundo ni Glaiza." I said.
"Are you fucking serious?!" She literally shouted. Kaya naman yung mga tao sa paligid naming ay napatingin.
"Calm down Sam, What's the matter?" Sabi ko.
"Ay Sorry, okay lang naman pero sigurado kaba diyan? I'm sure hindi sila mauubusan nang tanong." She's still concern. I smile a bit.
"I think hindi naman matatapos to kung hindi ko sisimulan." I replied.
"Sabagay you have a point. Ayaw mo munang kausapin si Glaiza?" She offered, the same moment I dropped my spoon.
Talking to her never crossed my mind...
