I've always been mute since I was a kid. Sometimes it makes me think of what it would be like if I could talk, "Earth to Milo."

Maybe I could actually tell people how I feel without needing a piece of paper or my phone, "Milo!"

I looked up from the table I was currently sitting at to peer at one of my best friends. While the other is stuffing her face with a blueberry muffin. "Like I was saying before you zoned out on me, what do you want to do today?"

I looked around trying to think of what I wanted to do then I remembered that I needed some more paint, "I need more paint, so let's go to Hobby Lobby."

Dizzy looks up from her muffin "We also need to stop by the studio." By studio, she means the dance studio they practice 𝙰𝚝; I've always been mesmerized by the way they move when they dance, like yin and yang perfectly opposite yet the same.

"Yes, we can do that as soon as we get Bob Ross here with some paint."Nila giggled while standing up from her chair and grabbing her purse.

We followed walking out into the fresh New York air and to the nearest Hobby Lobby to find the paints I need for my next painting. I've always been grateful for my gift of art; it got us an apartment and it put food on our table. Once we make it inside, I point to the paint aisle and they send me a quick nod before going to explore the store on their own.

Looking through the paints and the prices I pick the ones with the most appeal. Then I get a text from Dizzy.

I put my phone away as I finish paying for my paint and head to the store down the way to get the snacks but as I'm looking down the rows and rows of chips I don't see any shrimp chips

I put my phone away as I finish paying for my paint and head to the store down the way to get the snacks but as I'm looking down the rows and rows of chips I don't see any shrimp chips.

I signed and paid for the snacks leaving the store I called Nila. "Sorry, they didn't have any shrimp chips, Nila."I texted her as we looked at one another on FaceTime, "Shoot, I really wanted those chips," She cried out loud for the whole city to hear. I giggled at her cute pout as I continued to walk home from the convenience store. I didn't mind walking; it was only a few blocks away from home and I liked looking at the big city as I walked. So it was a win-win for me.

"Well, at least tell me you got the rest of the snacks on the list," I nodded to tell her yes.

If nothing else cheered her up I don't know what would because she was now beaming with excitement.

"Okay, then I'll see you when you get home," I texted a quick "OK" with a thumbs up and ended the call, putting one of my AirPods in the case and putting on my favourite song.

As I start to nod my head to the beat, my eyes close and that's when I run into a wall, or at least what I think is a wall. Until I hear a very deep voice asking, "Are you alright, Little one?"

At that moment, I swear I felt chills run up my spine and into my heart. He was so handsome, with his captivating smile and mesmerizing eyes. Every time he looked at me, it felt like a thousand butterflies fluttering in my stomach. His presence had a way of making me feel both exhilarated and nervous, as if I were walking on a tightrope between excitement and vulnerability.

I couldn't help but feel a strange warmth spreading throughout my body as he looked at me It was as if his very presence had the power to melt away all my worries and fears. I found myself craving his touch, yearning for his gentle caress. The way he spoke, with such confidence and charm, made me weak in the knees.

In his hands, I felt like pliable clay, ready to be molded into anything he desired. It was both thrilling and terrifying, this power he held over me. I knew deep down that I was losing control, that I was willingly surrendering myself to the unknown.

But as much as he stirred up these intense emotions within me, there was also a nagging voice of caution in the back of my mind. I couldn't help but wonder if this overwhelming attraction was too good to be true. Was it possible was he my

Erin, my wolf yelped in my head almost giving me a headache. "I'm okay," I replied, not wanting to stand there looking weird.

"oh , are you deft "

"No, I'm mute." He made a face of realization then nodded as if telling he understood.

"Well, little mate, where are we going?" Looking up at him with a shocked face, I signed to him, "We?" with a tilt of my head.

he just smiled  at me took my very heavy bags and started to walk

"well you coming "
