"Okay when will Leedia fly in?" Lana asks as we get in the Uber to our hotel
"She said she will probably arrive at the hotel before 7 so before we leave for dinner anyway" I say looking through my texts to see if Brielle landed already
"How is she doing, I haven't heard much from her since she and Arthur broke up" she asks me
"You haven't spoken to her since December?" I ask her
"Well there have been like texts around holidays and like a random check in but other than that nothing" she explains
"Yeah she deals with things in her own way you know" I explain
"She was in Paris with me for my birthday, and after that she obviously still spoke to us but not how she used to. I think it took a while for her to process and that's what she's been doing" I suggest
"Yeah, but I'm excited to see her, and I'm excited to ram you off a jetski tomorrow" she says laughing
"You know what, it's not funny because last time I almost died and that would not be very exciting would it?" I ask her
