"You're #163.All right, next."

"I'm Yuno from Hage Village." Said Yuno as he walked up to the guard.

"Yuno from Hage.Could i see your grimoire?" He then showed his grimoire.

"A f-four leaf clover?" The man was a bit shocked by seeing Yuno's grimoire, as was everyone else.

"Hey, that grimoire..."

"Is it really a four leaf?"

"Woow!"

Everyone started murmuring to each other.

"You're #164.All right, next."

With that Yuno went ahead,while Asta walked up to the guard next.

"I'm Asta, also from Hage Village!" He then pulled out his grimoire. "Here's my grimoire!" He said a bit excited, since he'll finally meet his captain again.

"This is pretty filthy." Said the man, a bit weirded out. "Are you sure this is really a grimoire?"

'Who does this guy think he is?!?I'll kick his ass!' Liebe got a bit pissed at him.

"Of course it is! Look." Asta then made his grimoire float for a bit. "See? See?"

"All right, all right." He then touched it with his palm. "You're #165."

"Thanks!"

"Bah-ha! He must be aiming really high if he came here all the way from the boonies." Said another teenager with blonde hair.

Asta's POV

Damn! Were there this many people the last time I took the exam? I was walking when I saw my worst nightmare. THOSE DAMN ANTI-BIRDS AGAIN! But this time they didn't come that close to me, they just hovered around.

'Is this your doing?' I decided to ask Liebe since he was the only logical reason behind this.

'Thank me later.' A simple reply came.

While I was busy talking with Liebe I bumped into someone. Wait why do i feel a sudden sense of Déjà vu?! As I looked up I saw a familiar figure, one that I saw die right in front of me. As he started turning around I half-expected to see his lifeless eyes staring at me, but this wasn't the case. I couldn't help the dumb smile that crept up on my face. I thought nothing could ruin my happiness. That was until he gripped my head and pretty much started crushing it.

"Why are you grinning like that brat?!?I'll kill you"

'HE'S MAD!HE'S DEFINITELY MAD!'

'The fuck did you manage to get yourself into?'

"Oh! There he is." A voice that I immediately recognized as Finral senpai said as he walked towards us with Gordon senpai behind him. "What are you doing down here?"

"I'm about to kill this little twerp right here." He said, still gripping my head.

"Hey, isn't that Finral Roulacase?The user of rare spatial magic?"

Asked some random lady. Finral senpai immediately walked to her.

"Hey, you're very cute." He said, winking.

"He's famous for being so girl-crazy that it gets in the way of his missions, right?"

"And that's Gordon Agrippa! The expert on incantation magic!"

"I heard that he's impossible to hold a conversation with. He's also a bit creepy."

"Whoa wait, cut it out! A Magic Knights Squad Captain shouldn't kill an exam candidate like that." Said Finral senpai as he finally remembered what he was doing before. "And why did you even come down here?"
