A week had passed smoothly..shifting of the Singh family was done..they were on their way to Mumbai via flight.

Here, Shazia was eager to meet her bestie and was busy making delicacies for their welcome..

HM- hum kuch madad kar dein ammi?

S- nahi nahi..tu ja abhi clinic..taki sham ko jaldi wapas aa sake..

HM- ji ji..waise bhi aaj kam appointments hain hamare...

She had her breakfast and left for clinic..

Anubhav was busy listening to his personal chatbox, Karishma..she was describing her 6 months without him. Although they had a couple of days spent together, she still had masaledaar gossips to tell without getting tired. Maa-Baba had slept in the meantime.

Soon, the flight landed smoothly..They finished with collecting the baggage from conveyor belt and proceeded to go outside..Baba smiled seeing his friend, Shehzaad as he was waiting there to receive them with his dear wife, Shazia. The respective parents hugged and greeted each other. Anubhav and Karishma touched Ammi- Abbu's feet.

[Sh - Shehzaad | S -  Shazia | D - Devki]

A- Arre malik sahab, apki bate kahan hai?

S- bhai sahab, apki ladli filhal clinic gayi hui hai..sham ko jaldi aa jayegi...(smilingly)

A nodded..

Sh- Karu aur Anu kitne bade ho gaye hain..(caressing their cheeks, both smiled)..aur samajhdar bhi...(smilingly)

D- kahan bhai sahab..abhi bhi dono pados ki aurton ki tarah chugli karte rehte hain..(jokingly...Anushma frowned)

S- kahan Devki yaar..mere bacchon ki burai mat kar tu..sunte the hum..Karishma ne har baar apni class mein top kiya hai aur Anubhav bhi training kitne acche se kar raha hai...

Anushma hugged Shazia..

AS- haan ammi..dekhiye inhe toh kadar hi nahi hai hamari..(he said dramatically, gesturing towards D)

D- accha?(getting hold of his right ear..he winced in pain)..kya bol rahe the aap?(smilingly)

AS- Ksh...Kshama kariya matashree..aap toh hamari pyari maa haina?(sweetly..D left his ear)..laal kar diya bilkul..(murmured while rubbing his ear)

D- kuch kaha?

AS- n..nahi toh!

Everyone laughed..they settled themselves in Shehzaad's car...

Sh- chaliye kal aap sabko Mumbai darshan ke liye le chalte hain..kya kehti hain begum ji?

S- Bilkul bilkul..(happily)

A- haan bhai..hamari toh badi iccha thi Mumbai ghumne ki..

AS/KS- hamari bhi..

KS- par abbu..please hum parso nahi chal sakte? Wo kya haina mere college ka yahan documents ka kaam pending hai...toh main kal kar lungi..aur parso saturday bhi hai..Hasi ko bhi chhutti mil jayegi asani se..

Sh- ye bhi theek hai..

They all talked all along the trip from airport to Malik Mansion..

S- accha aaj aap hanare ghar rahenge..aur main koi bahana nahi sunne wali..apke ghar ki jabtak puja aur grahpravesh nahi hojata tab tak aap hamare ghar hi rahenge..

A- ab apke decision ke khilaf kaise ja sakte hain bhabhiji...(smiled)

They settled themselves on the sofa while the servant served them beverages..

S- lijiye..shuruwaat kijiye thande sharbat se..(gestured everyone to pick a glass)

KS- ye toh hamara priya sharbat hai! Aap bachpan mein deti thi na ammi?(happily taking a glass)

Shazia smiled and nodded..

They freshened up after the sharbat session...Aadarsh-Shehzaad went for a round in neighbourhood and The ladies got involved in chatting..

KS- Ammi..(entering the room)

S- haa beta..kuch chahiye?

KS- nahi vo..Hasi kab tak aayegi?

S- on the way hai beta..bass aati hogi kuch hi der mein..

Karishma nodded and went in Haseena's room..Anubhav was busy looking at the photoframes there...

KS- dekhiye..hum teeno ki photo..(smiled and showed him a picture of Kareenav..where a comparitively tall boy was standing between two pretty girls..all three were in their teens)

AS- dekhi humne..ye Baba ne kheechi thi uss din..hum khelkar aaye the maidan se..dekho isiliye hum teeno ke shoes maile hain...(chuckled)

KS- hmm..kya din the na wo bhaiya..(nostalgically)..na koi fikr..na koi chinta..homework karlo fir maze karo!

AS- sachmein Kashi..bachpan sabse accha waqt hota hai jeevan ka...aur ye anubhooti humein bade hone ke baad hi hoti hai..

KS- hmm..waise Hasi ki current pictures mein bhi wo kitni pretty lag rahi haina bhaiya?

AS- haan..finally usne apna doctor banne ka swapn purn kar hi liya..(smilingly)

"Bilkul", a voice came from the door..the siblings looked there and smiled seeing Haseena...Karishma ran and hugged her..

HM- kaisi ho?(breaking the hug)

KS- bilkul badhiya..tum batao..

HM- first class!(happily) aur aap kaise hain, Mr.Army Man?(she said, looking at Anubhav)

He smiled

AS- hum bhi first class, Doctor!

Both chuckled and hugged each other...

HM- bachpan mein toh muscular the hi..ab army training ne toh aur bhi sakht bana diya hai tumhe..(she said, looking at his well-tone body)

AS- woh toh hai..aur tumhe bhi toh doctor banne ke side effect huye hain..

HM- Side effects?(confusingly)

AS- chashma lag gaya? Itni kitabein padhogi toh aur kya hi hoga🤭

HM- Excuse me..humein sirf reading glasses lagte hain kabhi kabhi..(removing her specs)..warna I have maintained myself..(she said smirking)

AS- good! Accha tum maa-baba se mili?

HM- haan..unse milne ke baad hi tum dono se milne aayi..chalo baitho. I'll freshen up and come..

They settled themselves..soon Haseena came..in her casual T-Shirt and pyjamas..

HM- so..kaisi chal rahi hai life?

KS- badhiya..college wale project ke liye peeche pade rehte hain aur kya..

She chuckled..

KS- tum batao..aaj ke sare checkups ho gaye acche se?

HM- haan...aaj toh routine checkup hi tha..nothing new..

They talked for a while and soon it was dinner time..

At the dinner table-

A- sachmein, waqt kaise beet ta hai..samajh hi nahi aata..ab kal ki hi baat lagti hai..jab ye teeno godi mein khelte the hamare..

Kareenav smiled..

HM- bas umr hi toh badhi hai Baba..baki dil se toh hum teeno bacche hi hain apke..(smiled)
