Denki stood in front of the mirror, face ridden with tears of lack of sleep and over night mascara that made his eyes feel overly dry and his skin cruel from the feeling. The running water cold and warm, almost burning Denkis skin the more he kept his hand in the water. It was sick, a sense of harming himself but it was the only thing that seemed to take away the pain from his head. Scissors, a yellow handed pair for his left hand were placed carefully on the bathroom sink side to make sure if they lost balance and fell? they'd land straight into the water flowing the sink and going down the drain with ease. it was a stupid idea, Denki knew that but he also needed it as well. He needed it for his mental, physical and emotional health. If he wasn't careful, he'd end up crying all over again like he did last night. And the night before, and so on towards.

The tears became fresh again.

Denki was only 15 years old and already he understand and knew damn well who he was, he'd known this for months and tried his hardest to warn and push off the idea of the fact he was.. the fear of his parents hate and total abandonment was worrying him. Threatening him to start living homeless on the streets. It was scary but surely they'd accept him right? they were his parents after all.Burnt hands trembled as they wrapped around the yellow handle of his scissors and lifted them up, blurry eyesight staring at the reflection of the mirror without a single moment of everything else. it took him a few breaths, one.. two.. three. Denki hacked at his own hair, cutting the long lengths of his blonde locks shorter and shorter again. From hips to shoulder blades, shoulder blades towards his upper shoulder and finally? short enough that his fingers couldn't exactly grab the light baby hairs on the back of his head. They were getting shorter, until the person looking back at him in the mirror was finally a person he loved and enjoyed the look off. Each tears came more fresh as he took the new look in fresh again, he dropped the scissors and himself drop down with his hands to his face. He was covered in hair, loose dead strands and in complete honesty? he hated the feeling, but with the fact he was now happier then before? he didst seem to care about that, he liked the new person. He LOVED the new person he had just become. After 3 years of having this thought in mind, he finally came to terms with himself. A smile on his face was finally real and wasn't a good for nothing petty little smile he's had plastered since the beginning of his teenage life to keep his parents and others happy. A fake smile, a mask to keep himself normal like the other kids in his school.
