"Alrighty then Blake this is your first real test to get out on that track. Good luck!" I heard Bono say over the radio in a horrible Australian accent
"That was f**king awful mate. But I appreciate it" I replied back
Bono: " I do my best for you" was the final words I heard before I was sent onto the track
3rd person pov:
Commentator: "Out comes young rookie Blake Gough let's hope Mercedes signed a good replacement for Lewis Hamilton, that is always a tough shoe to fill he'll definitely be feeling the pressure"
Blake pov: The season was going pretty well I was currently in P3 behind both Red bull's and above my teammate. It was the final minute of the session and I was sent for my final hotlap on the red wool soft tires.
Bono: Alright let's get them"
Blake: "copy"
The lap was looking nearly perfect I was absolutely flying until the new final corner caught me out and...
"Oh no! Mercedes in the wall and it's Gough! He was absolutely flying and that looks like a massive crash let's hope he's ok."
Bono: Are you ok?
Blake: F*CK sorry guys *heavy breathing* I'm fine the car isn't tho. I'm so sorry
Bono: All good mate as long as you're ok we'll talk about it later, you gave us some pretty good data. We'll talk about it later."
Jett: "are you alright mate? that looked like a big one" he asked me
Brayden: Are you alright? you drive for Ferrari"
After he said that me and him laughed
Jett: "we're not bad we just have some things we need to figure out"
Blake: "Some?"
Brayden: I think they need to fix the whole car"
