I had been checking wattpad more often as I got a really sweet comment a while ago and was honestly departing on coming back, and getting into writing again.
Unfortunately that has been ruined by multiple people asking for smut. Honestly asides from deleting wattpad at this point I don't know what else to do. There's boundaries that both authors and readers have set in place, but it again goes back to the commodification feeling, and forcing ace people to be sexualized because of people wanting smut in books. To be frank it make me feel gross and fetishized.
This also expands on the ongoing issue of MLM relationships being fetishized them selves. The fact that so many people want and pretty much demand smut in my MLM fanfic while my WLW one of the same ship is ignored. I don't have the brain power today to expand on that it is still good for thought.
