I ran.
Running wasn't an act my being always appreciated, but this time it did. I had no option.
No taxi. No one is on the road. Why does each and every taxi in this world has to hide whenever I'm in a dilemma?
I looked at front to see a car just about to hit me, but the driver changed the direction, bringing it at halt. He opens the window as I look at him. His anger was quiet but quite evident.
"Uh... listen. I'm stuck in the middle of something, and I really really need your help.", he looks at me, boiling in anger.
"Please!!! It's very very important, you can see it on my face! Look at me!", I said. He looked at me, for a good second before nodding, indicating that he was going to infact drive me there. I couldn't be happier.
He drove across allies and streets taking me to the desired building, as a phone call interrupted him and he went out of the car to get it.
"Yes. Yes. I get it. But-", he looks at me for a moment, while I get on the driver seat, ready to drive away. That guy just wasn't getting off his phone and it had already been 10 minutes. He is either crazy, or takes time in interpreting human words.
"Don't you dare."
"I'm SORRYYYY~"
I ran away, again, this time, taking away with me the car of a stranger, someone I didn't know, someone whom I saw crushing his sunglasses while I drove away.
I knew I had messed with him. What's the worse that could happen, I'll return it to him anyway.
