23:08

I SAW HIM! I WAS WITH HIM! I TALKED TO HIM! And in my most hated place. CAROUSELS! Who would have thought I'd meet him right there. I must admit that he looks even more beautiful up close. Tall, Brown hair, hazel eyes, and those his lips... I hate to admit it, but I guess I fell in love. Can a someone fall in love so easily? Or maybe I'm just suffering from a figment of my own imagination. Maybe I'm just overworked from constantly writing teen romance, and my brain wants to tell me to stop writing about it when I'm single. But our conversation wasn't worth much. It was that I was waiting at the cotton candy stall while Dad and Sister were on the cars and Mom went to buy ice crush, and behind me I heard voices, one of which resembled my classmate, so I turned around slightly to see if it was him. HE WASN'T. Just behind me was him and next to him his two friends (so I hope they were friends... I'll firmly believe he's not gay) and as soon as I turned around, he recognized me. Our conversation went as follows:

He: hey, isn't that you? The girl who knocked me down in the store on Tuesday?

And I'm like, well, if you don't give otherwise. Yes, it's me (here I smiled at him and he RECIPROCATED my smile)

He: and how else should I say that girl from the store? (yes, he took my nickname for him here)

Me: well, for example, we collided. And I'm not the girl from the store, but Lyra.

He: well, I think you bumped into me, but it doesn't matter anymore. Besides, I am...

And this was the moment when I thought I already knew his name, but the salesman behind the machine called out to me in an irritated voice that I should take cotton candy. Spoiled opportunity! So I paid, took it and left without turning around again. Yes, cruel I know. But what was I supposed to do? Turn around and tell him, "By the way, what's your name, do you know that in my thoughts I would address you differently than the guy from the store?" Probably not what? Never mind, maybe we'll meet somewhere.

Oh, and I went to pick up a microscope at the professor's this morning, so I'm dry. Hopefully I'll get to that after the festival. And when I mention him, I didn't expect to meet him at our carousels. He didn't see me (which I'm glad for) because he was standing in line for ice cream and I was on the other side of the aisle at the coffee stand. I think this school year is going to be interesting.

By the way, about an hour ago, an uncle arrived with an aunt and a little cousin. (there is no better timing) Ours pulled on me that tomorrow evening we are going to the program, which is at the amphitheater. What did I do to whom?
