The Moonpool, also known as the Crystal Pool and the Pool of Stars, is a round pool of water at the lake territories. It is a sacred place where medicine cats and leaders share tongues with Starclan.

Starclan cats are prohibited from explaining what would truly happen in a prophecy for unknown reasons. They also cannot, under any circumstances, save a dying cats life. However, there were times when that rule was broken, yet no one had found out.
