"A-ya-to!" I said, stretching out the word as I walked down the hall of the mansion.

Usually I wouldn't go calling him except today was March 22nd, his birthday .

I knew Takoyaki was his favorite food so I had taken it upon my self to deliver it to him.

No way would his brothers do that.

I headed up the stairs, ignoring Laito asking me "(Y/N)-chan where are you going?"

He suddenly appeared in front of me, blocking my path.

"What's this?" He asked, his green eyes looking down at the Takoyaki.

Laito lifted one stick with his pale hand, examining it.

I slapped his hand, making him drop it out of shock.

"This is for Ayato, leave me alone. I'll play with you later."

Laito narrowed his eyes, slinking back into the shadows.

I approached Ayato's door, knocking sharply on it.

A thump sounded as something thick hit the door as I heard him growl "Leave."

"I brought Takoyaki."  I sang happily, pressing my cheek on the door.

The door opened suddenly, unlike I thought it would, sending me falling into a firm chest.

I looked up into his green eyes. I stood tall, ignoring my flushed cheeks.'

"Here." I said, shoving a takoyaki into his mouth.

He let me, staring at me still before pulling me by the wrist into the room, shutting the door behind him quickly.

"Oh!" I said as I was pushed roughly onto the bed, Ayato leaning over me.

"More."

"Yeah yeah, I made ten."

I held the tray up to his face, seeing his green eyes stare at it intensely before picking up another one.

"Good Ayato."

"What was that?" He shot at me.

"Huh? No, nothing."

Ayato stuffed the end in his mouth, looking intensely down at me.

To tell the truth, it made me very uncomfortable being under him like this, and to have him staring at me like this.

".... Happy birthday!"I said, smiling as he took the tray and set it down on his night table. 

"I want something else besides takoyaki." He said plainly, his cold fingers brushing the side of my face gently.

This startled me, usually, Ayato was rough and possesive.

Right now, he started down at me with an almost.... loving gaze.

A smile pulled at my lips, as I poked his nose.

"No." 

The loving gaze disappeared. 

"Give me something."

"You got takoyaki."

"I don't want just that."

"Well too bad."

"I want you," Ayato suddenly said, hugging me close, lifting me inches of the bed.

"W-What?" I couldn't believe it... no way!

"I want you." He repeated, nuzzling his face in my neck.

"Let me kiss you." Ayato whispered into my ear, licking my neck.

I shivered.

Well..... as long as he didn't bite me a kiss wojld be harmless right?

Also... I'd been hoping he'd do this at some point.

I felt his fingers encircle my wrist, placing me back down.

I nodded, blushing.

Ayato leaned down, his eyes half lidded, his lips inches away.

Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, seeing that I had placed my hand over my mouth.

He had kissed my hand instead. 

Ayato frowned, yanking away my hand.

"Very funny." He said lowly, sitting up and swinging his feet off the bed.

I sighed, sitting next to him.

"Hey Ayato?"

"What?" He snapped, looking over at me. 

I pressed my lips to his quickly, my cheeks slowly getting more rosy.

I had meant it as a brief kiss.

However, Ayato nipped my lip, asking for entrance.

I declined. 

He pulled away after a few seconds, running his hand through my hair.

"Stubborn." He noted, his eyes narrowing before sinking his fangs into my wrist.

I grimaced, yet smiled.

Ayato was fun to be around sometimes.

Suddenly, I heard him mutter.

"I love you...."

"What was that?"

"Nothing. Make me more takoyaki."

"Eh? You finished it already? No more! You'll get sick!"

"And then you'll take care of me."
