"And she was like you got sauce in your face, you dork... and she was like wiping it and I was like...hihihihihi... and she was like hihihihihihi... so we were both like hihihihihi..."

Lia have to stop sipping her frappuccino or else she might throw up from her bestfriend's cheesiness.

"So, what are you going to do about it?"

Cheesy Ryu stares at Lia with her cheesy eyes... "What you mean?"

"Like after your hihihihihihi lunch with her" Lia giggles mockingly at Ryujin "What's the next step?"

Oh... Ryujin was too busy hihihihi about her lunch date, she didn't have time to think about the next step. She was having so much fun thinking of her past, that she didn't think of what she wants to happen in the future.

"Did you text her at least?"

"What?"

Why is Ryujin so clueless? But don't worry, because Cupid Lia was ready to shoot her arrows right at Ryujin's head. She yanks Ryujin's phone and shoves the phone right at Ryujin's chest.

"Text her..."

Ryujin usually don't have problems with texting girls, but this isn't just any girl, this is Yeji...

"B-but... W-what will I say?"

"Just tell her thank you, you had such an awesome time."

Ryujin's brow scrunches seriously as she text...

"Ok, ok, ok...So, listen to this Lia... here's my text... Hi Yeji smiley face..."

Lia roll her eyes...

"Thanks for spending lunch with me, I had such an awesome time... smiley face..."

Then she turns to Lia with a questioning look...

"Or should I put a merong face? What do you think is much better, a smiley face or a merong face?"

"You should put a derp face. Cause that's what it is! A derp text. I had an awesome time?" Lia gives Ryujin an incredulous look "Geez Ryu... any guy could just text that."

Lia didn't do anything but deepen the frown in Ryujin's face. She put her whole heart and brain in that text.

"You have to text something that only you and Yeji could get. Make it special you know..."

Lia slaps Ryujin on the back...

"Don't think so much about it, just text her how you feel... just chillax dude... chillax..."

Despite staring at the computer monitor for hours, Yeji couldn't help but have a goofy smile on her face for quite some time now. She was still feeling a lightheaded, her head totally in the clouds as all she could think about was her lunch date with Ryujin.

Vibrate. Vibrate...

Irene jumps up from her desk when she heard someone let out a squeal at the desk behind her.

"Hey! What's with you?!" Irene peeks her head in curiosity.

"Oh my God... She just text me..."

Irene have never seen Yeji smile this much...

"Who?"

"You know who?"

"No... I don't..."

Yeji smiles sweetly "Lover girl did..." Yeji clears out her throat before reading her text out to Irene. "Hi Yeji smiley face... Thanks for making something as simple as lunch really special... smiley face..."

Irene sips her drink noisily as Yeji starts to squeal again...

"You and your brownies are both awesome... merong face..." Irene roll her eyes as Yeji squeals again... "They're worth getting a few extra pounds in... lol"

Yeji was squealing the heck out of herself that day...

"Unnie... What am I going to reply?"

"Tell her to give me a discount in Yeji's..."

Yeji gasps at Irene then turns back on her phone.

"I can't do that... she doesn't know that I know... I want her to tell me..."

"Geez Yeji, you're overthinking it... the girl name her restaurant after you... you probably could tell her you have poop in your pants and she would still like you..."

Yeji gasps.. "Unnie! You're not helping here..."

"No, I'm just saying... chillax..."

Yeji takes a deep breath...

Lia was so close at yanking the phone of Ryujin's hand and lunging it at the wall after seeing Ryujin check her phone for the millionth time in ten minutes.

"Lia, it's been ten minutes! She haven't replied yet..."

"Well... if she replies to you, then wait for ten minutes too before replying back..."

"Yeah... you're right Lia, I should... I need to play hard to get..."

Beep.beep.

Ryujin scrambles to get her phone and starts punching Lia in excitement...

"She text me..."

"Aigoo..."

"Ahem ahem... Hey Ryu... Accckkk... she called me Ryu..."

Lia frowns "I call you Ryu..."

"Shuddup... anyways... she text me... Hey Ryu smiley face... I had a great time too, smiley face... you're still the best chef ever smiley face... So, maybe next time you could bring the brownies merong face."

"LIA! LIA! LIA! What am I going to text back?"

Cupid Lia taps her finger thoughtfully on her chin before saying...

"Hmmm... I think it's time to take it to the next level..."

Next level? But Ryujin didn't even came out of this level alive...

"Whoah... what do you mean next level?"

"I think it's time to bring her to the Tigers basketball game"

"Whoah..."

That's all Ryujin could say is whoah... This was definitely the next level.

"If you two are going to try it, you need to introduce her to Shin Ryujin the ultimate Tigers basketball fan."

"Is there an Hwang Yeji here?"

Yeji turns away from her computer and looks at the delivery man holding a package.

"I'm her... why?"

"Ok... just sign here" Handing Yeji his clipboard "And here..."

As soon as the delivery man left, everyone in Yeji's office gathered around her desk trying to peek in the box.

"What do you think it is?" Irene asks excitedly as Yeji was unwrapping the box... "It's from lover girl, could it be food? Jewelry? Oh I know... It's lingerie"

Knowing Ryujin's personality, there was a huge chance that Ryujin could have sent her one. The only thing Yeji could do now is pray silently that Ryujin had the decency not to give her one, or if she did at least send it to her house.

Yeji let out a sigh of relief when she saw what's inside the box...

"A Tiger's basketball jersey?"

After seeing the smile Yeji has after reading Ryujin's note, Irene couldn't help but jump in curiously to see what it's written in it. But Yeji was ninja enough to hide the note away...

Whit whiw... those cheerleaders would look like grandmas compared to how hot Yeji look in the Tiger's basketball jersey. She looks so good, it rendered Ryujin speechless.

"Ummm... you look good in that jersey..."

"Thanks for getting it for me..." Yeji's eyes twinkle and it blinded Ryujin for a bit.

"It was money well spent... here..." Ryujin hands Yeji a foam finger "You have to cheer loud, okay? Like this... LET'S GO TIGERS LET'S GO!!! LET'S GO TIGERS LET'S GO!!!"

Yeji couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable Ryujin is... It was definitely a new side of Ryujin and Yeji can't complain one bit, she likes this Ryujin more...

"YES!!!! THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST!!!!!"

"WHY GOD WHY????!!!!"

Ryujin's faith in God changes every time there is a miss or made shot... And Yeji couldn't help but be more into the girl than the game...

"WHAT THE HELL?! THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY A FOUL!!! ARE YOU EFFING BLIND???!!! BOOOOO!!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!"

Yeji bites her lips to keep herself from laughing at Ryujin who was screaming her heart out...

"Scream louder, Ryu... I don't think they could hear you..."

Ryujin plops back to her seat and starts to nibble on Yeji's popcorn... Yeji turns and sees people exiting the building...

"People are leaving, Ryu..."

"LET THEM! THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL FANS..." Ryujin cups her hand around her mouth "DON'T WORRY TIGERS I WILL STAY WITH YOU TIL THE END!!!"

And Ryujin and Yeji stayed until the last buzzer.

"Hey... hey..."

Yeji nudges a lifeless Ryujin as they were walking back to the parking lot.

"It's okay Ryu..."

Ryujin just remains quiet, her head wasn't in the right place right now, all her mind could process was the heartbreaking loss.

"Ryu?"

Yeji asks in worry as she sees Ryujin's eyes brimming in tears and Ryujin's lips quivering...

"Ryu? Are you..." Yeji peers in to see Ryujin's face "Are you crying?"

Ryujin couldn't hold out the pain that was stabbing her chest and pour all of her frustrations out...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

Yeji took a step away when Ryujin starts to cry, but not a few seconds pass and Yeji took the sobbing girl around her arm, letting Ryujin cry in her chest.

"They fought so hard, why is life so unfair?"

Yeji tries to soothe Ryujin's broken heart, by cooing softly at her.

"That's how life goes... Ryu..."

"But still" Ryujin sniffles "I can't believe it... is there a God? Is God cheering for the other team? Why can't he let the tigers win?"

"I wish I knew Ryu..." Yeji pats Ryujin on the back... "I wish I knew..."

"OMFG YOU CRIED?!"

Ryujin couldn't even dare look at Lia in the face after she reveals what happen to her.

"I couldn't help it... I was so emotional that time..." Ryujin defended herself...

"I should slap you for being such a WUSS!!! You know what I'm going to call you now? I'm going to call you Shin Wussy! Cause that's what you are, a wuss..."

Now Ryujin really regrets telling Lia...

"Whatever... Lia..."

"So, what are you going to do about it, Wussy?"

"What?"

"Does Yeji plan to see you again? I mean if I were her, I won't date such a wussy. Pffft..." Lia drinks her frapuccino noisily "All talk and no game... that's you Shin Wussy!"

"YAH! I thought you're my buddy?"

"no... sorry, I divorce you Shin Wussy..."

"Stop calling me that!"

Ryujin smiles thankfully at the receptionist who was making googly eyes at her. But it didn't stop at the receptionist, everyone in Yeji's office are giving her the I'm going to rip you out of your clothes look. And Ryujin quickly went to the safest looking one among those horny creatures, Irene.

"Hi..."

"Oh lover girl hi..."

"Huh?" Ryujin looks surprise because she was sure she haven't met the girl before...

"Yeji has a meeting with the bosses, but just wait on her desk... she'll be out in..."

And just like it was on cue...

"Oh there she is... Look Yeji, lover girl is here..."

Yeji's eyes widen as Irene just spurted out her nickname right in front of Ryujin.

"W-who's lover girl?" Ryujin asks...

"Are you crazy?" Irene scoffs "You're lover girl... that's what Yeji calls you... lover girl..."

"Wae?"

Ryujin looks at Yeji trying to figure out the stuff she just learned but Yeji was blushing too hard to care.

"Ummm... let's go Ryu..."

Yeji quickly pulls Ryujin away from everyone's maniacal looks.

"I'm sorry to barge in like this, but I brought lunch would you like to eat it with me..."

AWWWWWWWWW....

"GO GET YOUR LOVER GIRL YEJI!!!"

Yeji swore to God, those insoles are going straight to the trash...

It was pretty quiet during their whole lunch. Both girls suffering after their ultimate humiliation, none of them knew how to even start a conversation.

"I'm sorry I cried..."

It was Ryujin who spoke up first...

"What?"

"I'm surprise you still want to hang out with me after what happen..."

Ryujin's gaze was stuck on her bento box and Yeji couldn't help but admire how adorable the girl is, more and more each second.

"I think it was cute..." Yeji confessed

And just like that, the frustrated pout turned into a hopeful grin. "Ummm... you did?"

"Yeah... I think I like this side more than the cocky Shin Ryujin, I first knew..."

"But you like that cocky Shin Ryujin, right?"

Yeji leans back in the park bench before letting out a sigh. It was almost two years ago, but Yeji remember every second of their moments together from the first time they've met until the time where she picked Yuna over Ryujin.

"It was a different kind of like..." Yeji then looks teasingly at Ryujin "I think we both know what kind of like it was..."

Ryujin answers Yeji back with the same teasing grin.

"Well... we did something I like... so maybe this time, we should do something you would like... do you still like to travel?"

"Well... I stop traveling after ummm..." Yeji didn't want to say when she and Yuna were together "Anyways, I can't travel as much too because I work..." Yeji pouts thoughtfully

"Well, I'm part of a book club." Yeji says excitedly.

"Whoah... you know how to read?"

Yeji punch Ryujin playfully in the arm...

"No... this is good Yeji, we're knowing things about each other... and I like it... I like a smart girlfriend..."

Both Ryujin and Yeji had a teasing smile after hearing the word girlfriend...

"I like reading books, like when I'm waiting for my flight or I'm on the plane... but since I'm not traveling anymore, I could finally sit down and spend time reading... I like it because I get the chance to talk to other people what they think about the book and it's good because I get to see different points that other people have."

Ryujin just felt herself falling more for Yeji each second.

"We're having a meeting in my place."

"Could ummm..."

Yeji turns at the nervous looking Ryujin.

"Could ummm... could I join the meeting?"

"Of course..."

"COOL!" Ryujin then had a brilliant idea "I could prepare something for them if you want..."

"Really? You're ok doing that?"

"Of course... I'm the one who offered... So, yeah..."

"I would love for you to join..."

Yeji tries to sneak in behind the gorgeous chef, she was about to wrap her arms around Ryujin's slim waist but she caught herself before she could do it. She likes the pace that they're going through now, she doesn't want to rush it at all.

"So, did you read your book?"

Ryujin didn't know how to say it, she wasn't into books but she did red the summary in wikipedia...

"Ummm not really... But I know that the guy dies in the end."

"Well, maybe you would learn more about the book during the meeting..."

"Maybe..." Ryujin shrugs... "Here, try this..."

Ryujin feeds Yeji a fudge brownie...

"How's my brownie?"

Ryujin was definitely an awesome cook...

"Makes my brownie taste like crap."

Ryujin smiles proudly before continually stirring what's brewing in the pot. Ryujin might now be into books, but she took the time to research what kind of recipes works best for a book club. She wanted to make Yeji the best one out there.

While Yeji have the nickname of making people fall for her in 3 seconds, Ryujin has a nickname too... She could make clothes fall off in 3 seconds. Yeji was hot while Ryujin was just devilishly charming. She knew the right words to say at the right moment.

The book club should just change their name into a Ryujin club because in one night, she got those girls twisted around her pretty little finger.

She didn't do it on purpose though, she was just that good...

While Ryujin went back to the kitchen to check on the dessert, the members of the book/Ryujin club took this opportunity to hound Yeji about the girl.

"You two aren't dating, right?"

It somehow worried Yeji, that Ryujin was just a natural flirt who enjoys toying with people's emotions. She totally drew all the attention to her. Even if she knows Ryujin's attention was on her, judging by Ryujin's stares, still she couldn't help but worry.

Once a player, always a player? Is that the same case for Ryujin too?

"Us? Ummm well... why?"

"Good... cause I think I would go for her."

Ryujin broke the silence when she announce...

"Ok... I got dinner all set..."

"So, ummm... Ryujin..."

"Yeah?"

But before any of the book club members can make a move on Ryujin, Ryujin have already stop them by affectionately wrapping her arm around Yeji's waist. As if proudly announcing that Yeji was her girl. Ryujin have cling on to Yeji the entire night, her arm around Yeji's waist or her hand wrap around Yeji's hand...

The whole club could have all their attention at her, but her attention was all on Yeji.

The night ended with the girls saying their good night to Ryujin rather than Yeji.

"Good night Ryu, you should come to the next book club meeting..."

"Yes..." Another girl step in "We're having it in my house next..."

A few more flirtatious advances and jealous stares at Yeji and finally Yeji and Ryujin were left alone.

"Hey... I think your book club likes me..." Ryujin says casually...

"A little too much, don't you think?"

Ryujin have been itching to pull Yeji close to her the whole night and now that it's just the two of them, there wasn't anything stopping her. She wraps both her arms around Yeji's waist and presses herself closely to the girl.

"Could you tell me what the book was about?"

Yeji snake her arms slowly around Ryujin's shoulders. "Huh?"

"I couldn't concentrate because I was too busy staring at you..."

Yeji slaps the girl playfully in her arm, before Ryujin buries her head in the nook of Yeji's neck. The two remained quiet for a little bit, swaying softly to the imaginary song in their head.

"I hate it when reality distracts me from thinking of you..." Ryujin softly whispers...

"What are we going to do about that?" Yeji whispers back...

Ryujin smiles before leaning her forehead against Yeji. "Ummm... be in my reality too..."

Yeji pouts cutely... "I thought I already am?"

"It's not enough..."

"What do you mean?"

"I want to do everything with you, I want to hold your hand, to kiss you good morning, good afternoon and good night, to be the first person you would text when you get up and the last one before you go to sleep, I want to pick you up and take you home..."

Ryujin traces feathery kisses along Yeji's neck after every confession.

"I want you to be the girl that I would wake up to, be the girl that I fall asleep with..."

Now Ryujin's gentle kisses, turned sensual as she nibbles along Yeji's jawline...

"Be the girl I could call mine, be the girl that own me... Yeji, stop staying in my dreams and be my reality..."

And Yeji have enough of Ryujin's teasing, crashing her lips on Ryujin's...

The bedroom was just a few steps away, but it's a few steps too far and they have waited two long years to be with each other again. So, right now the living room rug is just perfect. A few frustrated grunts were let out by both girls when buttons and zippers were taking longer to work, as if teasing them more that eventually Ryujin just ripped the everything out.

Ryujin was ready to take Yeji again, the girl trapped underneath her, both her wrists lock on top of her head while Ryujin's hand tiptoes down Yeji's flat stomach. But just as Ryujin was about to take her, she saw the smile on Yeji's face and the animal in Ryujin tamed down.

This wasn't just any girl, this was her girl and Ryujin will take care of her girl.
She let go of Yeji's wrist and pressing her forehead against Yeji, leaning closer to lay kisses on her lips. Every kiss longer than the once before, Yeji wraps her arms around Ryujin's neck, pulling her close because all she needed was one kiss, one kiss they could get lost in forever.

And for once in both their lives, everything just felt so right. Their tongues searching for more, it eas only when Yeji felt Ryujin touched her that their kisses stop, because just like before Ryujin's touches renders her senseless. Yeji felt so helpless as Ryujin took over her, but it was a beautiful kind of helpless, something she didn't mind getting trapped in. She needed Ryujin to take her deeper, but before she could even say it, she just let out a smile because it was as if Ryujin knew exactly what she needed, giving her even more than what she craved for.

Moans have erupted across the room, fingers digging deeper to whatever it could hold on to... But Ryujin didn't just want Yeji like this, she wanted to hear it... she needed to hear it...

In the middle of their lovemaking, Ryujin finally pleads...

"Be mine..."

And Ryujin thought that Yeji didn't hear, cause her eyes were still shut, only thing coming out of her mouth were pants and gasps... But just as Ryujin was about to ask again, Yeji finally opens her eyes, smiling back between her gasps, and finally managing to let out those words.

"I have always been yours..."
