"Hanbin hyung!" Sunoo happily exclaimed as he hugged the hybrid so tightly.

Hanbin smiled. "Watch the tail Sunoo"

"Oh.....sorry" Sunoo sheepishly smiled.

"Nah, it's okay" Hanbin shrugged.

"But.....why are you here?" Sunoo tilted his head. "You said you were on a mission?"

"I finished early and the headmaster granted my permission to stay here with you" Hanbin said. "Isn't that exciting?!"

Suddenly Sunoo remembered something as his smile slowly faltered.

Hanbin's smile fell too seeing Sunoo's face. "Sunoo-yah, what's wrong?"

"I'm scared hyung"

Hanbin let out a reassuring smile. "Ey, and why's that? I'm here now, right?"

Sunoo shook his head. "Sorry....I'm barely myself these days. I'm so anxious"

"Oh Sunoo" Hanbin sighed, hugging him tightly. "Hyung is here now. I'll protect you" He smiled. "That's a promise"

They let the silence overtake as they wrapped into each other's arms, the feeling of comfort and warmth being mutual.

Suddenly that silence was broken when the vampire appeared.

"Boys" Wonwoo said, making Sunoo jump.

"Hyung!" He yelled, placing a hand on his rapidly beating heart.

Wonwoo looked at them rather serious.

"What is it Wonwoo-ssi?" Hanbin asked.

Wonwoo looked behind him, before facing the two.

"It's the Queen. Jieun-ah just came back and she wants to announce something" He faced to Sunoo. "Specifically to you, Sunoo"

The boy gulped.

Sunoo had his head down as he entered the throne room, meeting his other “mentors” including Jieun who just got back from the fight, a small scar on her cheek and a few scratches on her arms and legs.

Hanbin stayed at the corner of the room with Heeseung, watching the scene unfold.

"Kim Sunoo" The Queen said.

The boy looked up.

"Jieun has returned with bad news. The dark side is winning. We need to move" She said, her voice echoing through the hallways of the castle.

"The dark wizard has declared war" The Queen said, looking at everyone as her gaze returned towards Sunoo. "A week from now, the war will begin"

Sunoo's breath hitched.

"Guys, I put my faith in all of you" She said, looking at the five of them.

The young wizard bowed. "We assure you we will do our very best in training Sunoo, Your Highness"

Queen Jeonji nodded. "I trust you, Hongjoong"

The wizard bowed.

"Dismissed" She said, as he spun around and disappeared into thin air.

Once the Queen had left, Sunoo literally collapsed into the floor.

But luckily Heeseung teleported and had catched him just in time. "Hey hey, Sunoo, buddy, wake up" He called out, tapping his cheeks. "Sunoo-yah....."

Hanbin and Wonwoo stood behind him as suddenly the tiger hybrid's eyes flashed yellow for a quick sec.

Just then Sunoo jolted up, gasping for air.

"Sunoo!" Heeseung exclaimed in relief. "Are you okay? What happened?" He asked, cupping his face.

Sunoo sighed. "I don't know if I can do this hyung. This is all so stressful!"

"Hey, you can do it Sunoo. Trust me" Hanbin protested as he knelt beside him. "I'm here now. And as your guardian, I shall protect you with all my life"

Sunoo snorted lightly. "C'mon, you're not that serious"

Hanbin rose an eyebrow.

Sunoo's lips tightened. "Or sorta....."

"Well, I gotta tell you bud" Wonwoo spoke up, pushing his glasses up. "I heard from Jieun the war is to happen a lot sooner than expected"

Sunoo gulped.

"So, where have you been?" Heeseung asked as he and Hanbin walked along the hallways, on their way to where Sunoo and Hongjoong are training.

Hanbin chuckled. "You promise not to tell anyone?"

Heeseung nodded, making a zipping motion on his lips. "My lips will be sealed"

Hanbin smiled as he leaned in to his ear. "At the borderline"

Heeseung widened his eyes. "Isn't that place hard to go to?"

Hanbin flashed a cheeky smile. "Not when you know your paths"

Heeseung looked at him. "You're really one a kind huh?"

"Definitely"

*crash!*

The two flinched when a sudden figure crashed right in front of them.

"Sunoo, what's—"

"No time to explain!" Sunoo said as he pulled out a tiny shield before it expanded into a magical blue one, just before a ray of magic hit him.

Hongjoong appeared. "Nice block Sunoo" He said. "But you always defend"

"Well, maybe it's time I offense!" Sunoo said, standing up as he pulled out his sword, targeting Hongjoong who kept dodging his hits.

Heeseung and Hanbin stepped back as Sunoo spun around, the tip of his sword landing on Hongjoong's chin.

"A'ight, you got me there" The wizard chuckled, raising his arms up in surrender.

Sunoo lowered his sword, bowing. "Thanks for today's lesson hyung-nim"

"No problem. Five minute break" He said, patting his shoulder. "We're not done just yet"

Sunoo nodded as he dropped his weapons, facing the older two. "Hyungs!"

"You were awesome Ddeonu-yah" Heeseung smiled.

Sunoo's ears turned red. "Ah....really?"

"I didn't know you could sword fight" Hanbin exclaimed.

"Well, I got a few lessons for it along with some magic items because my “power”," —he air quoted—"isn't triggered yet"

Heeseung sighed. "If Sunoo's power is triggered, will it do any difference to win the war?" He asked Hanbin.

Hanbin nodded. "Sunoo's presence is powerful, but releasing his power can maybe defeat them in minimum amount of time"

"It would be a big boost up then" Sunoo mumbled.
