Akemi takes gradual sips of her drink, her fingers lightly tapping the counter, pondering. Kyutaro awaits her answer leaning against the countertop with his arms folded across his chest.
Name, a new name. The day finally came where she was now ready to brave on the world and come out of the shadows she had been hiding in. She was ready.
"Erm..."
But maybe not ready to come up with a new name.
Kyutaro's eyes narrowed at the girl in front of him. "You have no clue, huh?"
Her gradual sips turn into nervous chugs.
"You're telling me..all these years..of training..of hiding...YOU HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF A NAME??"
"I guess I didn't really pay attention to the small details." Akemi sweatdrops, nervously smiling and rubbing the back of her head.
Kyutaro lets out a short breath of air, turning around to start washing some dishes that had been in the sink. "You can take on the identity as my younger sister, Akemi Kugi. You can keep your first name since no one knows that the Gushiken family had a daughter in the first place. We can forge records to make it seem like you always existed as a Kugi."
"You'll handle that right, big brotherr~?" Akemi snickered.
Kyutaro glared, "I have to."
Drying his hands, he opens one of the drawers and pulls out a single photo and slides it across the counter towards Akemi's cup. "The catch is you're going to be working under the care of my two boys: Rei Suwa and Kazuki Kurusu."

"...a kid?"
"It's a long story. Anyways, they're good at their jobs and Miri needs a mother figure in her life so I volunteered you. Though, you'll be an auntie since that's easier to explain to others rather than Miri having two fathers and one mother."
"Volunteered? WITHOUT MY PERMISSION? And two dads?? Are they into each other?"
"No, like I said, it's a long story...but more importantly, you can't be so focused on the mafia business all the time, Akemi. You deserve a normal life. You haven't had a normal life since you were 13 years old. You're 24 years old now, you need a balance."
Akemi scoffed and rested her cheek in her palm, "Normal life my ass. I wasn't born to have a normal life."
"Just because you grew into a Gushiken family doesn't mean you're undeserving of a normal life." Kyutaro placed his hand over Akemi's hand that was resting on the counter. "You'll be okay. You can't be so unattached from life."
Kyutaro gave Akemi a reassuring smile, earning one back from her. "So tell me why Miri has two dads?"
Kyutaro gave an awkward chuckle and started to explain their whole story of how they became a family.

The shop's bell chimes and a family walks in.
"AUNTIE AKEMI!!"
Akemi soon feels a pair of small arms wrap around your legs snugly, she look downs to see the same little girl in the picture that Kyutaro showed her a couple minutes ago.
"Hey Miri, don't overwhelm her!" A deep voice rings out. "Sorry, she likes meeting new people. I'm Kazuki, your new business partner!" The blonde-haired man from the picture extends a hand towards Akemi, she firmly grasps it and gives it a formal shake.
"Akemi Kugi."
As Akemi's shaking hands with Kazuki, she feels another pair of eyes on her. She looks over his shoulders and comes eye to eye with almost a scruffy looking black-haired man. He looked as if he didn't sleep for days. His eyes were studying every little detail about her, from head to toe.
"I didn't know you had a younger sister, Kyutaro.." The man muttered.
"She doesn't like getting out of the house much. She's a bit of a hermit, like you Rei." Kyutaro answered. "That's Rei Suwa, your other business partner and Miri's other papa."
Miri cooed agreeing, "I live with Kazuki Papa and Rei Papa! Kazuki Papa lets me cook yummy food with him and Rei Papa lets me play Morio Kart with him!"
"That's nice, Miri. I bet you learned to cook yummy food and you're a pro at Morio Kart." Akemi patted her head as Miri giggled.
"You two don't look alike." Rei chimed in.
An awkward pause took place in the shop. Kazuki and Akemi exchanged looks.
"Yeah...Akemi's beautiful." Kazuki chuckled earning a glare from Kazuki.
Akemi looks back at Rei and flashes him a small smile, "I dyed my hair, I couldn't stand when people claimed me and Kyutaro were twins growing up."
"Akemi." Kyutaro glared.
"I also stayed in the house so much to focus on training that I never really had the chance to go outside for a tan."
Rei's eyes shifted between Kyutaro and Akemi, he gave her a confirming nod and sat down on one of the stools.
"I guess that's fair." Kazuki chuckled.
"Your guys' job for now is to allow Akemi to settle in. This is gonna be her first time out so allow her get used to how you guys live to maintain a lifestyle with everyone. You'll get your first job in a week." Kyutaro explained.
Rei and Kazuki nodded, "Got it."
Kazuki grabbed Miri and carried her, "Welcome to the family, Auntie Akemi!"
