"Lirian.." Megumi mumbled as he opened his eyes only to find himself hugging a pillow
"You're dreaming about me now?" He heard Lirians voice say as he got up to see her combing her now curled hair, still wet applying oil to her scalp and ends
"I haven't seen your defined curls in a while" megumi said the girl having had her hair in multiple protective hairstyles, a silk press and afro since he met her again as Lirian hummed "it feels good to be me again" she smiled as she used a wide tooth comb on the end of her hair
"I like your hair like that, it's nice. That and your Afro really suit you." megumi said as Lirian gave him a quiet "thank you"
"Where are you going?" megumi mumbled as he finally got up stretching his arms
"Im just going out for a walk, you wanna join me? I can wait" the girl said as she turned to look at the boy
"Alright" he yawned getting up, although Lirian was turning her back to him, that didn't stop her from admiring his looks through the mirror as he picked up his towel and headed to the shower? How was he so effortlessly gorgeous even when he's just woken up
Lirian had always found megumi attractive, that wasn't a secret, she said it all the time. She did have a crush on him back in middle school but she thought those feelings had gone away, yet here they were stronger than ever especially after their trip to Kyoto and their recent mission, she was hooked
She let out a sigh covering her hair with a silk scarf for the time being as she opted to change from flared jeans to cargos to the weather
"You changed to cargos?" Megumi said as he came out of the bathroom with only a towel covering the lower half of his body
"Yeah, it's too hot for tight fitting jeans" Lirian said as she applied her lipgloss using her flip mirror snapping it shut and turning to see a shirtless megumi
"What's that face for?" Megumi said as Lirian starred at him with wide eyes
"Go put some clothes on" Lirian said kissing her teeth as the boy gave her an amused hum "stop acting like this is the first time you've seen my shirtless" Megumi smiled as he was met with a scoff from Lirian
"I need you to help me apply sunscreen" megumi said as he handed her the sunscreen, Lirian nodded making her way to the bed
The two of them shared a foreign silence as Lirian applied the sunscreen to megumis back, it wasn't an awkward silence but there was a new found tension between them as yuji and nobara slept peacefully on the other side of the room
