Chapter 15

Hi guys this is going to be prom part one

Salish p.o.v it was week before my Prom and Nidal had asked me to go with him I said yes I saw shopping for my prom dress because I already had a idea of what I wanted it to look like i was in 11 grade

It was almost my last year of high school I went to my favorite dress shop and started to look after what felt like hours I found a beautiful

I tried it on and loved it I bought it and the shoes it was a beautiful fit I smiled and went home in my room I called Peyton,Jiji,my mom and a few other friends and showed of the dress they all loved it

The last week I talked to the counselor and she said I had a really good chance at being valid Victorian I was so honored by this and I knew I had to do it is not just for

my family and my friends boyfriend but it was mostly for me that week I had different colleges sending me emails about going to the school I had literal emails every single month telling me to apply to their school

I had replied to some of those emails that I will think about it I got excepted into Yale Princeton Colombian university but different universities throughout the country I had worked so hard for almost 4 years to get to where I am and there was this school that I was waiting to hear from

It was the biggest video photography art school in the country it was located right at the heart of New York and I had gotten a chance to be in the program I was still waiting there were two candidates me and Jasmin my Best my longtime best friend I knew she wanted this opportunity and one of us would get it

A week later

I screamed so loud I think the dog got scared for a moment I got it I got into the video photography school in New York this was a huge opportunity for me and I was going to celebrate right after my problem here in California it isn't uncommon to hear from schools your sophomore year of high school

I had worked so hard for this and I knew I deserved it but a part of me still broke because I knew Jasmin also deserve this she had gotten into Yale and Princeton as did I but I knew nothing would compare to going to New York but I had worked almost 4 years to be where I am

Tonight was my prom tonight was the day where I would be free and you going to prom was a big thing and I didn't wanna mess it up

I was in my room Peyton Jiji  and a few other friends Peyton Peyton had said that I look beautiful in my dress she did my make up in my hair my dad called us all over when we were done that limo is here I had talk to him but I guess what he said about me and it all kind of still hurt

I was the last want to go downstairs everyone else was with their dates talking someone clear their throat and looked ipand they saw me my friends gasped when they saw my dress I had only shown Payton and Jiji about the dress they had smirks on their faces and then Nidal turned around and when he saw me his mouth fell open

I smiled when I reach downstairs he kissed my cheek and said he you look beautiful and smiled again this time brighter we took a few pictures got into the limo  and drink a little bit of wine or tequila which ever works we got to listen to Adele Olivia Rodrigo Billie Eilish and many more artist until we finally got to my prom this was it this was the night I was dreaming up since I was a little girl

And there no way I was gonna mess it up
