The life I left behind was a cruel one filled with drugs, violence shouting, and enough rage to fuel Vlad's army again. I always thought that would be my life and that I would just have to deal with it and get over the fact that due to my environmental upbringing I was just destined for the same kind of life my parents have shown me, that was until you saved me and you showed me there was more to life than just sitting around doing drugs. To be completely honest with you I didn't ever think id make it without you I'm almost positive that id be dead by now if it wasn't for you. There is a clear difference between you and the rest of the people I've dated you never give up even when I want to you never let me fall. Even if that means that you have to carry me and deal with every negative emotion I go through. They may have taught me what love wasn't but you taught me how to love and what it meant to love someone, you taught me that even on my bad days I am so much more than just some angry little kid. You made me so much more of a man than I thought I could ever be. Your love and comfort taught me to finally switch everything back on, in two years I went from an unfeeling numb angry man to one that takes every single thing in and can feel more than he ever could. and for that I thank you, I may not have the life I left behind but I have a better one now and that's all that matters to me.
