Here I was sitting beside shrinkhal who was laying in bed fast asleep, he really didn't want to trouble me but in insisted on staying, I was staring at his face as he was sleeping, just then my phone started ringing i didn't want to wake him up so i quickly ran outside, it was Varun
"Y/n?? Tu kaha hai???" He said in a preety loud voice
"Main kab se phone laga Raha hu utha liya kar main dar Gaya tha!!" Just then i realised I had forgotten to call him that I'll be staying the night, because I got so busy taking care of shrinkhal
"Oh sorry varunnnn vo shrinkhal ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi so I'm taking care of him I can't come home today"
there was just silence on the other line then I heard a soft "ok" as the call cutted off, i slowly pulled it away as i stared at the blank screen "weird" I said and ran back inside . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Shrinkhals POV~
I woke up in the middle of the night my head was spinning, i sat up straight and held my head my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I felt cold, I rubbed my head with my hands trying to ease the pain, just when i removed them i felt some ones warm skin, it was so warm and soft i could just melt.
"Y/n?" I remembered what had happened, she was sitting on a chair and resting her head on the bed I was sleeping on I felt so bad
"that must be so uncomfortable" I got out of the bed and looked at her my body felt weak my eyes felt heavy but i couldn't let her sleep like that, I put my hand on the back of her neck and one behind her legs as I picked her up, i kicked the chair away as i layed her down on the bed, Just when I was about to leave her arm warped around my neck and I got pulled in "so... Warm..."
"Don't go... Dad don't go" she mumbled, i opened my eyes, it looked like she was dreaming, i wrapped my hand around her waist as i tried to calm her down, she snuggled more into my neck. I didn't know what to do so I just stayed like that till she stopped mumbling, I pulled away and looked at her face, i reached out my hand and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and caressed her cheek with my thumb
"I don't know what happened but.. I will protect you y/n"
