Chapter 22 - Lost Her

I wake up with the sun beaming down on me through the window. My surroundings don't seem familiar as I look around the room. I look down and see a sleeping naked Sharon on top of me. 

She really is an amazing person. We had a good conversation when we came up to her apartment. She is smart, funny and have I mentioned how beautiful she is? One thing did lead to another and we ended up sleeping together, but wow, it was great. I feel myself not bothered by anything at the moment. Nothing else matters to me right now.

"Good morning beautiful" Sharon says in a groggy voice looking up at me.

I look down at her and smile. "Good morning. You seem comfortable."

"Oh one hundred percent. I can lay here all day"

"Well how about you continue to lay here while I make us breakfast" I ask.

"Well that means you will have to get up and I want you to stay here" she says holding me tighter.

"I guess it is settled then, I will just lay with you all day."

"Perfect she says as she puts her head back down on my chest.

Just then I hear my phone start to ring.

"Well I guess there goes my comfortable position" Sharon says as she look up at me.

"Sorry." I say as I get up to look for my phone. I get my pants and take out my phone.

I answer it without even looking to see who it calling. "Hello?"

"Y/N where the hell are you at? Tony called me and said you didn't show up at the compound last night! Where are you?!"

"Whoa Ria calm down. I'm ok. I... um-I spent the night at a friends house. I'm fine. I'll head back soon"

"Dammit Y/N. We called you all night! We were all worried about you. I was worried about you!"

"Ria can you relax. I am ok. Yelena and Kate saw me leave with someone. Did they not tell you?"

"They also did not come back, but Nat is dealing with her sister. Hurry up and get your ass back now!"

"Yea Ok-..." I try to say as Maria hangs up on me.

"Whoa someone is in trouble." Sharon says. I look back at her and she is staring at me with a smirk.

"Ha Ha very funny. Yea that was my sister. She was freaking out because they couldn't find me."

"Well I guess you have to get going then." Sharon stares at me with a sad smile.

"Yea I'm sorry about his Sharon."

"Don't worry. Will I get to see you again?"

I look at her for a moment. "Yea, I would love to take you out on a date. If you let me."

"Of course I would love to go on a date with you. Here give me your phone."

I hand it to her and she adds her contact.

*Sharon🥰: You are so amazing Sharon. I had an amazing night with you! I can't wait to see you again!

She hands me my phone back and I look at it. I let out a laugh. "Wow did you really just text yourself that?"

"Well am I lying or were you not going to tell me that?"

"You have a point I guess" I say smiling at her while I am putting my clothes on.

"Make sure you text me later ok." Sharon says as she gets up with a sheet wrapped around her and walks over to me. She grabs the back of my head with one hand and pulls my face down to hers. We share a very passionate kiss. I hesitantly pull away.
