Meeting mia regina Payton. It was something i never expected to happen, but i am glad it did. When i saw her that day at the cullens' house, i knew that she was my mate as soon as my eyes landed on her. I never thought i had a mate because who would want a mate like me who has been made out to be one of the three monster kings. Yet Payton didn't even question us being mates, and she trusted me almost instantly. She is incredibly strong, kind-hearted, a fantastic mother, and most of all, she is absolutely beautiful. These past few days i have had with her, Fiona and Flora have been completely magical. It has made my day's more enjoyable, and i feel more alive even though i'm practically dead.
Today was about facing her fear and having to watch her confront the man that hurt her. It was still magical. I got to see her protect her, actually our children, and get revenge for what he did to her. I got to experience seeing her starting the new chapter in her eternal life by getting rid of the one person who would have held her back from being truly happy. She is definitely Caius's soul daughter from what i saw because she can torture someone without thought and without reaction. She fits into the Volturi like this was her family from the beginning, and this was her family from the beginning she just didn't know it until now. This is the start of the life she should have had from day one, and i'm so glad i get to be a part of this with her.
When i saw her end that stronzo life, i realised she was more than capable of protecting herself. She doesn't need me to be her shadow through all the wars we may fight in the future, but i do know i will fight beside her as a couple. If we fight, we will do it together and be each others backup no matter the situation or circumstances. Both of us will do whatever it takes to protect our principesse no matter the cost because that's what good parents do they protect their own. I am going to spend the next eternity showing Payton just how strong she is and how much of an amazing mother she truly is. I am going to show her what having a loving family truly feels like with the help of Caius, Aro, and the coven.
I still can't believe i am a father after thinking that wouldn't ever happen, yet here i am, a father to two amazing beautiful twin girls. My little principesse will never have to live their lives wondering what having a father would be like because i'm going to be in their corner cheering them on. I'm going to be there wiping their tears, fixing their cuts, helping them learn something new, and i'm going to be there for every one of their graduations. Nothing is going to stop me because those are my girls and my happiness. Here i am watching Fiona and Flora getting fussed over by Payton in the safe room as i stand by the door, letting my mate get this out of her system.
"Fiona, Flora, are you hurt anywhere? Are you both okay? Does anything hurt?" Payton said in a panic
"Daddy, save us!" Fiona said in between fits of giggles as Payton checks her over for injuries
"Oh no, do my principesse need their daddy to save them." I said, chuckling
"Yesh please daddy, save us." Flora said, smiling big
"Then i shall save my principesse." I said, picking Payton up, gently throwing her over my shoulder
"Marcus put me down." Payton said, slapping my back and laughing
"Sorry ma'am, i can not do that, my principesse asked me to save them." I said, winking at my daughters
"Oh, did they? Well, then the tickle monster is coming to get them." Payton said, jumping off my back
"Daddyyyyyyyy." Fiona squeals as Payton chases our daughters around the room at human speed
"Do not worry, m'ladys, you hero will save you." I said, chasing after Payton
"Oh no." Flora squealed as Payton caught her and started tickling her
"No tickle monster leave my sissy alone. Take me instead." Fiona said, dropping to her knees pretending to cry
"No sissy, only one of us shall lay victim to the tickle monster. Go, run, save yourself." Flora said in between fits of laughter
"I will not leave my sissy. Never will my sissy be alone! I will fight the tickle monster." Fiona said, standing tall
"The tickle monster wants both of her munchkins." Payton said, tickling Fiona with her other hand
"Mommmmmyyyy!!" They both giggle out
"Oh dear me. I see the tickle monster has returned." Peter said, standing at the door with two cups of blood
"Uncle pete come save us." Fiona said, making him chuckle
"I'm afraid i can't sugar. I have your special drinks in my hands, and we both know you need these drinks more than you need me to save you." He said, smirking
"Uncle Peter is right, my babies, so go get your drinks. The tickle monster has gone now." Payton said softly, stepping away from them
"Yes, mommy." They both say with big smiles on their faces
"One for you and one for you." Peter said, handing them their drinks
"Tank you, Uncle." They said and started to drink their blood
"Do you feel better now, Payton?" He whispers, now standing the other side of Payton
"I still feel what i did before i killed him, Peter, and that won't change for a while because it takes time to heal. But yes, i feel better now he is gone, and my babies can be safe at last." She said, smiling
"Then let yourself heal sugar. Nothing is holding you back anymore. It's time you let yourself heal." He said, kissing her forehead.
