Teary eyes. Restless mind. Nightmares.
Those scary things made me shivers at night.
I was in the middle of the storm with no one to hold on.
With empty hands I felt I carry a sack of stones.
"Lord, when all these things pass away from me?"
"How can I escape from this soul torturing thing?"
I prayed bitterly but only silence came.
Years passed, my soul shredded like a glass.
"I want to change Lord please forgive me."
I pleaded for His mercy.
On that morning a sign came unexpectedly.
The rain stopped and the sun rises in the east.
The boat starting to row on a calm peaceful sea.
Many times I cried how He rescue my life,
How thankful I am for His mercy and grace,
Asking just like David word:
" For all his benefits toward me,what shall I render unto the Lord? "
Therefore I'll do as David did.
"I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and I will call upon the name of the Lord."
Please remind oh Lord
To always be thankful
To always be mindful
Of the great things You did.
Amen.
