I finally made my way through airport security.
I still had an hour before my flight departure.
I sat in the airport lobby with my airpods in listening to a podcast when a woman approached me speaking spanish.
"¿Has visto a una niña con cabello oscuro corriendo por algún lado?"
(Translation: Have you seen a little girl with dark hair running around anywhere?)
"Uh no señora, Lo lamento" I say looking around me.
"Está bien, gracias" She says before walking away from me.
I put my airpod back in and open a bag a goldfish I brought with me.

After an hour I entered my plane and sat in first class.
My boss really loves me.
I made myself comfortable before eventually falling asleep, I hadn't slept the best the night before, due to me procrastinating on packing.

I woke up 4 hours later and got a drink from the flight attendant.
I had about 7 hours left on the plane so I decided to watch some of the harry potter movies.
I only made it to the 4th movie before we made it to Santorini.
I exited the plane and headed to the baggage claim, grabbing my luggage and walking out to a taxi.
I told the taxi driver where I was staying and he nodded his head and took me there.
I was very jet lagged and still tired. It was around 9am in Greece but 2am in boston.
I sat silently in the back of the taxi admiring the city as we drove by.
I arrived at my villa and the first thing I did was look around it. It was 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with a kitchen and dining area. The living space was the best part, it was blue and yellow with a gorgeous blue velvet couch.
I claimed the master bedroom before picking an outfit out and taking a shower.
I picked out a yellow sundress with ruffles on the straps, with some white heeled sandals.
I got out of the shower, got dressed and did my hair in a mid-pony before putting on some sunglasses and heading out to a restaurant I saw in walking distance from my villa.
As I walked towards the restaurant I admired the ocean and the people walking around me. They were all so sweet, flashing smiles and waving.
I enjoyed my walk to the restaurant before opening the door and entering.
The restaurant was small and there was hardly any people in it.
I sat down at a table by myself when I realized that there was a tiny stage in the restaurant/bar for people to sing at.
I saw an older woman polishing glasses behind the counter.
"Excuse me, Ma'am?" I said getting up and walking towards the bar
"Yes?" She said with a thick Greek accent
"Do you own this bar?" I said politely
"Yes I do" She said looking at me curiously
"Am I allowed to sing up there?" I said pointing and looking at the stage
"Yes" She said smiling "Anyone is welcome too"
I smiled at her before making my way to the stage and stepping up grabbing the microphone.
I looked behind me at the band, they waited for me to start singing so they could join in.
I smiled before I started singing.
"I can still recall
Our last summer
I still see it all
Walks along the Seine
Laughing in the rain
Our last summer
Memories that remain"
I looked back at the band giggling as they joined in. I continued singing when I noticed the lady I had talked to before, the owner was inviting people in to see me sing. I pranced around the stage laughing and smiling my brightest while singing and messing with the band members.
Once the song was over I return the microphone to the stand and heard people cheering loudly for me.
I bowed playfully and laughed before hopping of the stage and walking towards the owner.
"Thank you so much." I said to her with a smile
She smiled at me.
"You are a beautiful singer." She said as she continued polishing her glass.
"Really? It's just a hobby of mine." I say laughing
She smiled again
"I should get going." I said looking towards the door and making a sad face.
"I'll come back tomorrow," I said standing up not playing attention to what I was doing when I bumped into a tall man, I almost fell over before he grabbed my wrist tightly.
"You need to pay attention to what you're doing." He said it not jokingly but also not sternly.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I said looking up at him
He was tall.
A hell of a lot taller than me.
He was also handsome as hell.
I snapped out of my trance when he let go of my wrist and walked behind the counter and into the back room.
I shrugged it off before telling the lady once more that I would be back tomorrow.
Once I left the restaurant I couldn't help but keep thinking about the man who bumped into me.
