On her first day of Hogwarts Katie Bell nervously stepped foot onto the Hogwarts Express worrying about what house she would be in and if she would be able to make any friends. Stepping into what she thought was an empty compartment she was shocked when she met eyes with a girl the same age who was curled up in the corner, book in hand. The two nervously stared at each other until the train pulled away, sending Katie flying into the seat opposite. After that the two instantly became friends.

Clinging onto one another Katie and the girl from the train stepped into their dorm, pausing when they saw two girls already sat on the beds chatting away. The taller dark haired girl stood up rushing towards them with excitement neither of the two were expecting. Looking over the shoulder of the excited girl, Katie locked eyes with the girl on the bed. Her dark hair pulled from her face, her grey eyes narrowed slightly until a smile formed on her face, instantly easing Katie's anxiety.

From that moment Katie knew she was about to form life long friendships with the three. Those three girls being Alicia, Angelina and Cassie.

On the morning of the Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw match Katie paced up and down the length of the dorm, worried about messing up the game for her team but more importantly Oliver and Cassie. She knew how much Oliver wanted to win and with it being her turn to play while Alicia sat out she was determined to play the best she ever had. She didn't want to disappoint Cassie by messing up the game for them, Deep down she knew Cassie would never be disappointed with her but her anxiety had always managed to take over at the worst times.

"Katie, are you okay?" She spun on her heel to face Cassie as she sat up, rubbing her eyes. She took a seat at the end of the bed, her nerves easing as Cassie gestured for her to take her hand.

"No. I'm nervous. I haven't played a game this year and I know I've practiced but it's not the same and I can't mess up beca-"

"Slow down Kate." Cassie whispered. "It's okay to be nervous, I am before every game but I've seen you at practice and during games and you are one of the best players I have ever seen. You've got this, I know you do." She squeezed her hand.

She took a deep breath, rethinking Cassie's words as a smile took over her face. "Yeah! I've got this! It's all going to be fine." Squeezing Cassie's hand back. "Thank you Cass." Feeling grateful to have a friend like her. Glad that she had helped her become the confident girl she normally was.

The team sat gathered in the changing rooms while students and professors filled the stands. Oliver paced the changing room, running his hands over his face before he abruptly stopped causing the team to jump. "Right, this is another chance for us to be a step closer to winning the cup. I need you all the play as well as you have during practice." He turned to face Harry. "Try and get the snitch as fast as you can." He turned around to the twins, who were spinning their bats. "Don't let them get hit, protect them at all times." Moving in front of the girls, raising his eyebrows at Cassie. "Keep communicating, get that Quaffle and Cassie no killing anyone."
