he looked straight in your eyes.
"You still haven't moved on, have you?"
He asked, the tone of his words were soft, he seems eager for an answer.
"Be honest.."
She was hesitant at first.
"No, not fully anyway." She said.
"Y/N.."
he looks away again.
"do you want me to be completely honest?"
She nods
"if you could, would you get back with me?"
he whispers, he didn't want anyone else to hear.
"I'm not so sure about it...You know why we even broke up in the first place.."
She said.
He looked at you.
"you don't remember anymore...why?"
He whispered, sighing.
"Because at times, It's best to forget things that cause you pain."
She said.
He looked away, as if a flash of painful memories took over his mind.
"...because i broke your trust."
"remember?"
The tone of his voice was heartbreaking.
"i broke the most important thing."
He bowed his head before continuing.
"you trusted me all those centuries ago, and i broke your trust."
His voice was quiet, his gaze still down.
"i let you down, Y/N."
"i'm sorry."
He said, you could tell he truly meant his apologies. He had grown so much from the last time you had seen him around Fontaine, yet he too was also way more handsome.
"I'm not sure I'm ready to forgive you yet."
She said.
He didn't answer right away, you felt him staring at you.
"do you really..?
"Please hear me out..."
Tears had begun to fall out of his beautiful eyes as he closed them, yet rain began to pour aswell.
She sighed
"Are you still don't love me?"
He asked, seeming worried and yet hopeful for an answer.
You could see him bite his lips as he looked at you.
Looking at him in this state weakened your heart.
This time she hadn't replied to his question
"just tell me the truth, Y/N."
His tone was serious, and a bit harsh.
"do you love me?"
"Not so much as i first met you."
She said.
