Winston shone his light on the four figures stiffly marching into the abandoned pizzeria. Dennis, frightened but curious, took his face from Winston's shirt to look.

The figures looked like various monsters of some kind. They were all covered in faux fur, and had rubber faces. Their joints were segmented, like an action figure's.

The first was a bear that resembled Frankenstein's monster. It had dark green fur, bolts extending from its neck, and stitch lines throughout its body. It wore a top hat, bow tie, a torn brown vest, and torn brown pants.

The second was a deep red fox wearing a reaper's cloak. It had a scythe instead of a right hand. Its long snout was twisted into a permanent sharp-toothed grin.

The third was a vampire bat with prominent fangs. It wore a gothic red dress and lipstick. Thin rubber wings extended from its arms.

The last one was a grey werewolf with a flowing silver mane. It wore a torn flannel shirt and jeans. Its face was twisted into a permanent snarl.

"Who are these guys?", Dennis asked in a quiet voice.

"Probably just some hooligans in costumes," Winston muttered dismissively. He then yelled again:

"If this is some early Halloween thing, don't do it here! Go home!"

But, still they silently stomped closer, seemingly oblivious to Winston's commands. Winston ran to meet them midway... then suddenly stopped.

Winston's theory was quickly discredited. The creatures all towered over him; each stood at least seven feet tall! However, this didn't stop Winston.

"Hey, stop!" Winston ran up and grabbed the Franken-bear's arm. He tried dragging it back to the entrance. But, it was no use. The bear simply kept going. In fact, it started dragging Winston along instead.

After a drag or two, Winston let go and fell to the floor. His cold blue eyes wide open, he stared incredulously at the ursine intruder as it continued its journey.

The creatures continued their march to the back of the pizzeria. But one of them, the werewolf, stopped in front of Dennis. Then, it stared down at him with glowing yellow eyes. A shiver ran up Dennis' spine.

Meanwhile, Winston simply sat on the cracked floor, with his eyes open wide and his bushy eyebrows raised high.

"Wuh...I...how...", Winston tried to say something about the bear's incredible strength, but found he couldn't form any coherent words.

SNAP!

Before Winston could ponder anymore, a loud metal SNAP! echoed throughout the dark building. Then, Dennis screamed.

The Puppet quickly stopped her watch when the little boy screamed. Without delay, she turned on her control bar and wheeled out the room that was once a security office.
