Jeon Jungkook could hear the sound of the boat engine from inside his sea cave, looking away from his multitude of canvases and out at the sunshine tinted sea. Cresting over a small wave, he saw a weathered fishing boat appear. The tittering of other nearby sirens gossiping about the boats arrival reached his sensitive ears. That wasn't the only thing to reach his ears then though. A voice suddenly reached him that gave him pause; widening his almond shaped eyes in disbelief.
'Jiyeon?' thought Jungkook as his interest renewed.
Jungkook positioned himself so that he had a clearer view of the boat, but still managed to remain hidden from view. He noticed a woman in an overly large black raincoat on the deck of the boat.
Even though it had been a decade, Jungkook recognized the familiar face; the rosy cheeks highlighted by her cherry blossom lips. Her doe brown eyes were scanning the rocks in front of her as the waves sprayed water up onto them. As she turned her head, Jungkook was even able to make out the one freckle tucked behind her right ear that he had once thought was adorable, but that she hadn't known existed.
"It is her..." whispered Jungkook; tears misting his eyes.
After a decade, the woman he had once loved had returned. The fact was bittersweet to Jungkook as he remained hidden. He turned to look back into the darkness of his sea cave at his portraits. The one he had done of her had been a labor of love.
He had lost her once - and even though he wanted to do nothing more than rush to her side - he knew she wouldn't remember him. Dying had that effect on a person.

I wasn't planning on starting any new story ideas right off, but a request by @ImagirlthatlovesBTS made my overactive imagination start visualizing this story. I hope that it'll live up to your expectations!
