It's you and the beach who connect
and help the earth breathe.
The sound sticking to your feet and water
dripping down your face, you breathe.
The sun shines your scars and helps
your body glow, you smile & breathe.
Inhaling the smoke of joint deeply as you watch
your lover strip into the sea, I breathe.
I smell the sharp air that gets into my lungs
and suddenly it heals them, the earth heals.
Don't underestimate the beach's power,
it holds so many more secrets between us
than your heart, heal.
Release it now that you're sun kissed on every
inch of your skin and accept the Mother Nature's feelings,
you heal.
Whisper lies that'll spin my head off and
trap me deep down into a seashell that stays, because I stay,
while you heal.
It's my punishment for not being sober
when you needed it. I like being high way too much.
I can see you then, I heal.
