I've never been to a horse race but I recall as a boy once hearing the Kentucky Derby announced over the radio. "And they're off and running approaching the first turn ... they've passed the second turn and are on the back stretch approaching the third turn ... now they've rounded the clubhouse turn and are neck and neck headed for the homestretch and the finish line ..."
