chapter nineteen _my Boyfriend

Me and matt are sitting on a bench in a garden, as we watch jade running after Janessa holding a water bottle with them laughing loudly, and nick and chris sitting at another bench but it's far away from the one we're sitting on, the sun going down on our faces as i hear giggles around from the people,

"I love you" i jolt as matt says that, i look at him as he's just smiling,

"Matt, what did i tell you?" I tell him as i look back in front of me expecting from him to remember,

"What did you tell me?" He says smiling leaning his face in front of me,

"Ugh, matt, i told you i can't except your feelings, i like nick" i remind him, he doesn't say anything but he leans back again, i look at him as he's just smiling and letting out a simple laugh one after another, i frown confused,

"Abby, haven't you noticed it yet?" He asks happily,

"Noticed what?" I ask, his smiles widens up,

"Abby, you moved on" he States, i freeze,

"..what?"

"You moved on abby, you don't like nick anymore" he States one more time with eyebrows slightly towards up and smiley face, i look back in front of me to the grass as I think about it shocked, fuck he's right, i moved on, but when?? When did it happen, i look back at matt smiling shocked as i realized i like matt, i let out a small laugh as i realize more and matt does the same, oh my god, i now know why i always gave in when matt tried to kiss me, and why i was so happy when he was around me, and why i would be excited whenever he would text and comes over, why i would get a crunching feeling in my stomach whenever i hug him, why my heart would crash to pieces when he cried, why my body always moves on it's own when it's about him, why i kissed him, i like matt, no i love matt, i know how i used to say i love nick, but no i love matt , i look at him again as he looks at me waiting for my answer, but his face relaxes as he already can tell my answer from my face, i bring both my lips in my mouth as i press them together, i nod my head to him, he lets out while laughing a finally at ease 'oh' as he looks up at the sky, he looks down at me as we both just smile, i love matt.

Chris's pov:
I watch abby and matt as they laugh with eyes full of love looking at each other,

"So, you're not going to tell her?" Nick asks from beside me,
i look at him because i didn't expect him to know, then i look back at them,

"No" i say smiling as i watch them,
"I don't have to, I don't want to ruin their good mood and make her uncomfortable "

"But what about you? I'm not asking about them I'm asking about you, are going to keep it in forever?" Nick asks, i look back at him,

"It's okay, i know I'll move on, mabye not any time soon, but it'll happen someday" i continue as i look back at them "and who knows, mabye she already can tell but she chose to ignore it and normalize how i acted, and that it was in a friendly manner, i always tried to give her a hint but it didn't work, she always chooses shoving her suspicion off, but it's okay though"
Nick pats my shoulder as he watches them with me, if i can't say it loudly, at least I'll say it to myself,
i love you abby, i love you, i mouth it too as i watch her, i love her.

The next day after school:
Abby's pov:

I walk out of the classroom when the school bell rings, I notice matt standing in the hallway with back laid to the wall, he glances my way then he pulls back from the wall when he notices me, I press my lips together as I try to hide my obvious wide smile, he smiles gently and walks to me, I freeze in my place as he gets closer, he stretchs out his hand when he reaches me, with his palm towards me, my hand shakes as i bring up mine, my hands lands in his as he moves it to interlock his fingers in mine,
