3rd person pov:

Ume shabana the flower hashira was currently assigned on a mission to a village it was said that people kept disappearing and when they did there was always the smell of fire afterwards Ume was sceptical about going but she couldn't go against the masters orders so she went on the mission with no problem she walked into the village and looked around after a few hours it started to get dark she kept looking even asking people for info but no one seemed to have anything she walked around before she saw it.. The demon it turned around quickly to look at her she froze in place after reading what it's eye said "... Uppermoon 3.." She said slowly looking at the demon horrified for her own life the demon attacked using as the fight moved on she managed to cut off it's arm and she almost managed to cut of it's head but before she managed to do that she froze the demon had managed to punch a he through her stomach she looked down horrified and she fell to her knees and the demon disappeared Ume didn't try to follow it there was no way she would be able to so she sat there unable to move unable to do anything she sat there for about 10 minutes before she finally took her final breath

Gyutaro froze and looked up at the crow unable to say anything "my my what happened to her?" the guy in front of him said that it was none other then douma "caaw caaw she was in horrible condition with a hole in her stomach caaw caaw" the crow said before flying away gyutaro still unable to say a word was looking down at his hands "my my gyutaro I'm so sorry for your loss.." Douma said looking apologetic gyutaro said nothing and stood up walking away

Gyutaros pov:

I walked to me and Umes house and walked into her room sitting down on her bed and then I just let go I started crying I couldn't belive it she was gone and I couldn't get her back she was gone and I couldn't protect her I can never forgive myself for this...
