Accelerator pov:

I was put in the guest room in the house. I had my own bed and place to spend time. I had to do some chores like help cook, clean or help zenith in the garden.

Paul would always train with a sword and sometimes he would try teach me how to use it. He said that I picked it up fast but i barely tried.

Since coming here I started to eat properly and no longer looked malnourished and from the sword practice I was actually getting some muscle. It wasn't anything too drastic but it was noticeable.

I was given a lot of freedom I was allowed to do whatever I wanted during the day whether that was stay in my room or explore the local area. The only limit I had was not go far from the village.

Zenith had started to try teach me but quickly realized I already new how to read do math and so she stopped but she did still teach me a bit of history and other things about the world like geography.

Rudeus would avoid me when we were alone but he would become very talkative when there were others around.
Tho one day he came into my room alone

"Umm you said you knew about magic"
He asked nervously.

"Ya why"
I replied curiously.

"Well I've been practicing beginner level water magic for a while now and I think I want to lern other kinds of magic"
He said bashful.

He then fires a water ball at the wall

"Would you not prefer to advance to intermediate teir first"
I say dismissively.

"No I want to try out all kinds of magic"
He said putting all the force he could muster into his statement.

"Fine"
I say a bit surprised at his dedication.

I create a small whirlwind in my hand using my ability

"(Well maybe sending out qliphah wasnt a complet waste of time)
Just concentrate on your mana and envision the results you want then push your mana through like you do with your water magic and it will happen"

*I am simplifying magic in mushoku tensei for Rudeus only*

"Ummm ok that's a bit more simple then I thought"
Rudeus said confused.

He then closed his eyes and stretched out his hand and a cuple seconds later a small wind went through the room. It was barely noticeable but it was there.

"Well that's about all I can teach you. Keep practicing and making new magic and you will be a master magician eventually"
I say.

"Is that really it?"
Rudeus asked.

"Without incantations yes it is. The quickest way to learn is to just replicate the feeling of the spell when preformed by incantations but I dont know any incantations"

"Then how did you figure out how to do magic in the first place then?"

"Well that's because I have a little bird who tells me everything.

"Hu is that part of your ability"
Rudeus asked confused

"No it's not"
I said as I start learning against the wall.

"Ah wel-well how strong is your ability? I'm just realy curious because it sounds so powerful you are basically a god."
Rudeus says while looking at the ground

"Ya its strong but I am no god"
I replied gloomily. Hoping he would take the hint that I didn't want to talk about it.

"But how strong"
The boy insisted.
