You decide not to risk your life, since the fire could catch the forest on fire.

You stand there waiting for him and you look down the path where you came from.

You see the exact same black figure standing there.

Your eyes go wide and all of a sudden you heard a scream.

A scream that came from Brandon.

You look at the forest, ready to take off but you quickly glance at where the figure was standing.

It had disappeared.
