**Inside Yilling**
Lan Qiren with his elder nephew Lan Xichen who is now 10 years old. They both are roaming around the streets of Yilling.
They both went to Yilling for the Gusu Lan Sect's work and Lan Xichen wanted to buy some toys for his younger brother who is just 6 years old and he wanted to buy special food items for his little brother Lan Wangji too. Lan Wangji is not so picky about the food so he brings many food items for his younger brother.
Lan Xichen had a younger brother name Lan Wangji who is blind by birth but his brother is capable of doing many things. Lan Wangji's reading and learning power is incomparable, Lan Xichen loves his little brother more than anything else in this world. Lan Wangji is the treasure for Gusu Lan Sect , His little brother is very stubborn as a Lan.
The Gusu Lan imperial family hide one fact from the cultivation world that Lan Wangji is a "Ger".
(There are 3 kinds of people in this fantasy world. male, female and "Ger". Lan Wangji is a "Ger" who is also a male with a boypussy but he is able to produce an heir for another male.)

Lan ChinChin is taking care of Lan Wangji. Lan ChinChin is the childhood friend of Late Madam Lan. Lan ChinChin is also a "Ger".
Lan Qiren was taking care of his both nephews after the death of his elder brother Qingheng-jun and Late Madam Lan.
Lan Wangji is so introvert as a child, He got bully by some other childern due to his blindness, but he remained silent after his mother's death. She is the only person who love him so much and now Lan ChinChin is his nanny.

Lan Xichen is roaming on the streets of Yilling to buy some toys for his baby brother, He is with his uncle Lan Qiren.
His baby brother Lan Wangji who became more introvert after the death of his both parents which left an ill-effect on his Younger Brother's mind. His baby brother Wangji became more introvert.
Lan Xichen has brought many toys for Lan Wangji and some hand carved statues for his baby brother to make him understand the knowledge of art and crafting.
When they both Lan enter inside the Yilling market. It is more crowded than the market of Caiyi Town of GuSu Lan Sect. Lan Xichen saw A small cheerful kid was eating food on Yilling streets. the small kid is the same age of Lan Wangji but he is so cheerful and jolly kid, his expressions are very cute. He is not expressionless like his brother Lan Wangji.
This kid was eating garbage food but many street dogs were cheasing him. The kid was screaming for the help, He had fear of dog. One dog was going to scratch his small arm. This kid was screaming out of fear.
Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen had helped that poor boy to make him safe from those street dogs. They both had chased away those street dogs.
""Thanks big brother and uncle for your help."" Small kid thanked to Lan Xichen and Lan Qiren.
""Your welcome, what is your good name didi??"" Lan Xichen asked with a smile, He never called didi to another person but this child's smile is very heart warming...
""Big brother, my name is Wei Ying courtesy name Wei Wuxian.."" This kid replied...
""Didi, why are you roaming around the Yilling streets? Where are your parents? Can we drop you at your home?"" asked Lan Xichen out of concern to see this boy, might be this boy get lost in the street of Yilling.

So, I live here on the streets and eat this tasty food thrown by others, because I don't have money to buy it."" Wei Wuxian replied with a toothy smile, he offered this dirty bun to Lan Xichen too. Wei Wuxian's tummy was grumbling loudly due to hunger...
This made Lan Xichen heart wrenched to see the goodness of this poor boy. Lan Xichen shook his head but in his heart he wanted to take care of this kind hearted boy back to Gusu Lan Sect.
