CHAPTER 3 - kades POV

Once Nolan left the classroom i realize that the whole flirting thing im trying to do isnt working. He clearly felt awkward and embarrassed. Maybe i should try dating a girl for once.
I look down at my math assignment and decide it can wait. I need to figure out what is going on.
Unlike Nolan, im a bit more serious when it comes to school stuff. I dont want to consider myself a nerd, but i do secretly have glasses....hehe. I love poetry and writing is my passion. If anyone finds out though, im screwed. ESPECIALLY if Nolan finds out.

Maybe the reason im falling in love with Nolan is because im jelous that he has a girlfriend. I hate when he talks about her.
'Poopy this' 'Poppy that' 'Poppy's farts smell like roses'
Like no offense bro, but i dont really care. #slay #queen

I write down
KADE X NOLAN on a blank sheet of scratch paper.
"Watcha doin there"
I feel a breeze of airy ocean perfume wash over me and realize its Coco.
Long story short, I hate Coco.
Shes like a beautiful tree that falls on your face when u get close to it. (Like i said, poetry IS my passion)
I sigh and respond,
"Nothing."
Then i remember.
I NEED A GIRLFRIEND TO MAKE NOLAN JELOUS.
It could work. It should work.
I turn around to Coco.
"This might be really out of my beautiful-ocean-blue-mustard-colored-eyes, but would you want to go out?"
She quickly responds
"OF COURSE SiLlY!!!"
She giggles and put her hands around my neck. She hugs so tightly i want to smash her head on my chromebook.
