"I think Jinae hates me now," I mumbled to Seungmin, who was busy taking notes, his attention pinned on the teacher.
Seungmin huffed, pausing a second before he continued writing. "She never liked you," He spoke, not sparing me a single glance.
He's right though, but ever since I got her into detention, Jinae has been avoiding me like hell, even little things I do to annoy her, she would ignore that too.
And now I'm in this boring class, sitting next to Seungmin, worrying about if I'm ever going to be unblocked by Jay. Its been four days and not a single dark cloud of doubt had drifted away.
And to top things up, Jinae is also ignoring me. Chan didn't help a lot either. I expected him to be the nice guy Seungmin claimed he was and tell us everything.
Turns out what we manage to accomplish was just him sleeping for only two hours.
This is more confusing than how Jeongin shoves a whole bread into his mouth.
"I'm bored!" I muttered lowly, resting my head in my arms which laid on the table, crossed.
"Thank goodness you finally admit it."
"I said 'I'm bored' not 'I'm dumb' Seung—Min," I shot him a glare, before going back to my previous position. I could hear him chuckle to himself, as he ruffled my hair.
I knew sitting with him was a bad idea.
--------
"How do we approach Changbin?" I prodded, looking at the male, who was talking to a girl. They seem pretty invested in whatever conversation they were having.
And I'm afraid that if I ruin that, he might punch me into next week. No idea what Seungmin is planning, but I know its nothing nice, considering the look on his face.
"Hey Seungmin, what are you up to?" I grabbed his hand, pulling him back. Did he just attempt to walk up to Changbin? Like without fear?
"Changbin hates being irritated," Seungmin smiled, a weird look on his face, that clearly states 'I'm up to no good' "He'll answer the questions faster so we'd leave quicker."
"Are you dumb?" I pulled him back, trying to knock some sense into him. "That's exactly why we should avoid him? He's unpredictable?" Seungmin just scoffed, taking his hand away.
I just huffed, trailing behind Seungmin, he clearly knows what he's doing.
Shit, I'm getting to desperate. Too engrossed in finding out what's happening. And why me of all persons to give this number?
"Changbin Hyung, may I please ask you a question?"
Changbin turned to us, displeasure boldly slapped on his face. The girl's smile faltered but quickly sat back on her red coated lips. "No!"
"It will just take a second," Seungmin prodded further, wearing his angelic face.
The stare down was finally broken when Changbin sighed, giving in to Seungmin's tactic. "Be quick, I'm busy!"
"Why did you give Jisuck over here that number? Who owns the number? Is he being catfished? Was it a bet? Are you pranking his pathetic ass? What is your workout routine? Whe-"
"Hey, you said a question, as in ONE!" Changbin cut him off, raising a hand to silence the puppy.
"Just pretend that all those are one," I butted in, getting intimidated by Changbin's scrawl.
This guys is the champion of arm wrestling, has never lost a match in his seven hundred and thirteen times of participating. I don't plan on getting on his nerves.
"How is that possible?" Changbin tilted his head, now very perplexed. The girl next to him had distracted herself with her phone, paying no attention to what was going on.
"Pfft, and I thought no challenge is big enough for you."
Seungmin I swear-
"Hey!" Changbin frowned. "Okay, we gave him the number for reasons I don't want to tell you. Two, I can't tell you who owns it. Three, no, he's talking to an actual pretty girl. Four, no, it wasn't a bet. Five, we are not pranking him. And six, my workout rou-"
"Yeah, nobody cares about your workout routine," it was now Seungmin's turn to cut him off. Isn't he scared? What the heck?
"I kinda do?" I glared at the brunette. "Changbin Hyung, who is the third guy?" Changbin thought for a second, Seungmin's foot tapping being the only sounds heard.
"I can't tell you."
"Please? We'll leave you alone after this!"
"All I can tell you is that," Changbin looked around, before leaning closer to us. "He's playing cupid. But you didn't hear that from me, got it?"
"Got it," slightly bowing, I forced a smile. Before pulling Seungmin out of the room. "Thanks Hyung."
"Well," Seungmin started, his arms crossed and a bored look on his face. "That was completely useless, who would wanna play cupid with you?"
"Hey," Seungmin whined, when I punched his shoulder. I mean he's right though, but saying it ever so plainly kinda hurts. "I'm just saying."
I stayed quiet for a while. This has gotten a bit advanced. "Do you think its Minho?"
Seungmin laughed loudly, slapping my shoulder. I just blankly stare at him as he continued. The brown haired finally composed himself, taking in a deep breath. "What makes you think so?"
"Well, Chan, Changbin and Minho are always together, right? He's definitely the third guy!"
Seungmin paused, his expressed changed into an agape one. "You're on to something, does that mean, no, it can't be?"
"That I'm talking to Jinae?"
"That you're talking to Lee?"
We spoke at the same time, totally perplexed.
