In a world where strength is often tested,
Where women face troubles, often wrested,
Let me share a poem, a solemn verse,
To shed light on the difficulties we traverse.
For being a woman is not always smooth,
A battle fought daily, the weight we prove,
Discrimination, an unyielding foe,
We fight for respect, a rightful glow.
We stand tall against catcalling's disgrace,
Unwelcome whispers and intrusive embrace,
Our voices, our bodies, not up for display,
We rise above objectification's sway.
In workplaces, glass ceilings we encounter,
Striving for dreams, our aspirations soar,
Competence disregarded, undermined,
Yet we forge on, determination defined.
Our bodies, vessels of strength and grace,
Used, exploited, a painful embrace,
But we reclaim ownership, demand respect,
For we are warriors, our worth untect.
For every hardship, a sisterhood found,
Supporting each other, united, tightly bound,
Together we rise, empowering the rest,
Breaking the chains, with passion we invest.
In these lines, I hope you find solace,
A reminder that strength is embedded in us,
For the difficulties we face only make us strong,
And our resilience, a testament unsung.
So, let us stand together, fierce and proud,
In a world that challenges us, unbowed,
For women's worth is measured, vast and true,
