Discription: This poem is about a girl who wishes that she can still be the little girl she once was and not be called childish for still liking the things did when she was younger.

In the realm of time, an innocence lost,
A journey evolves, as we bear the cost.
From little girl dreams of a life unfurled,
To expectations and pressures, a maturing world.

Once adorned in laughter, so carefree and bold,
Now told to conform, to fit in the mold.
"Be a lady," they say, as they cast judgment's eye,
Thus the little girl fades, bidding childhood goodbye.

But within her heart, an ember still burns,
Longing for days when freedom returns.
To be herself, unapologetically true,
Embracing each moment, not feeling taboo.

She dreams of castles adorned in the night,
Of fairy wings fluttering in purest delight.
Empowered by princesses, magical and grand,
For in dreams, she finds solace, a whimsical land.

Yet some deem it folly, to revel in flight,
To seek joy and wonder, with innocent sight.
They whisper "childish" like a prickling thorn,
Judging the dreams that her heart still adorns.

But hark, little dreamer, hold fast to your truth,
For within your spirit, lies eternal youth.
In a world that suppresses, still let your light shine,
Unveil the enchantment hidden beneath time.

Play on, dear soul, as the world tries to tame,
For in your innocence, resides untamed flame.
Wear your princess dresses, with grace and with pride,
For it's in embracing all parts that you truly reside.

Don't let their judgments steal your playful glee,
For the child within is the essence of thee.
In animated tales, find solace and cheer,
Rediscover the magic that lies ever so near.

Though they label you "childish" with a scornful gaze,
Embrace your longing, let it set your heart ablaze.
For in the dreams of that little girl, so bold,
Lies the strength to forge a new story untold.

So, cherish your childhood, both past and now,
Keep the flame of wonder, forever allow.
For growing up does not mean you must let go,
Of the little girl within, who continues to glow.
