"Ah! Wtf" as soon as Hanbin went inside his dorm room , Matthew voice was what he heard which caught him off-guard
"What are you doing here?" Hanbin ask as he stay put at where he was not knowing how to react
"Well you had a date today , ofcourse i need to be updated , so how did it went?" Matthew asked curiously, Hanbin look at him and saw that he eyes were sparkling as if he was a kid asking for candy
Hanbin heavily sigh and move to his bed and take the clothes that was neatly folded which was his night wear "It's not a date"
"I still believe it's a date" matthew cross his arms and look at the front with a pout
"Be delusional all you want but it's not a date" he put down his bag and went to the bathroom to wash up
He comes out after washing up"you haven't answer if it went well or not" Matthew immediately ask not letting him rest for even a second
"It was ok , I guess and we had alot in common too..." he said and look at Matthew who was smiling like crazy and his face was a little TOO close to his , his breath hiched for some reason he doesn't know , he softly slap the smiling Matthew's face away
"Why?why did you stop?" Matthew whine like a baby making Hanbin glare at him "don't try to act cute" he stated making Matthew offended
"Me? Acting cute? No way this hotty acts cute" Matthew says as he show off his biceps making Hanbin roll his eyes though he was kinda shock at how a face so cute could have that type of arm
"So full of yourself" matthew glare at Hanbin then look at the wall clock
"Well , i almost midnight, you should rest you got classes tomorrow, i should go now too" Matthew said as he stands up , followed by a panicking Hanbin, even Hanbin doesn't know why he panicked and holds Matthew wrist to stop him from going away , he doesn't know why he wants him to stay
Matthew look at his wrist which was hold by Hanbin , he heart did something again and he doesn't know why maybe his just afraid of...what? Leaving? Yes , leaving Hanbin ? Yes , leaving Hanbin with Hao? Yes but why was he so afraid of letting him go after all those years and setting him up
Hanbin notice that Matthew was looking at him holding his wrist so he immediately let go "I'm sorry...i just thought i could, you know...maybe have some company?" Hanbin say not looking anywhere but Matthew
"I'm sorry but you will be tired tom-" Matthew was cut short by Hanbin who was now looking directly at him
"Please stay , Just tonight..." He said reaching out Matthew's hands , he doesn't understand himself, he always love being alone in his dorm , that's why he get the single room and he never even bring his friends tho they always invite themselves in , but Matthew, his different...maybe because his a cupid , he feels right to be with him but was he asking too much? Should he just ignore that Matthew is cupid and try everything to keep him with him or accept his faith and try to make it work with hao? He doesn't know
Matthew doesn't know why but as soon as he saw Hanbin reaching out for his hands he whole body shift making Hanbin look at him shock , Hanbin was about to speak
"Just tonight" matthew answered making Hanbin smile
"Umm...wait let's make ramen and eat and talk alittle??" Hanbin ask breaking the tiny tension between them , sounding excited as he walks towards the so called kitchen which was right next to them since the room was small
"Sure" Matthew says as he follow behind
"Wtf you did not!" Matthew says laughing out loud , they're currently sitting on the floor talking about random topics , Hanbin was telling matthew about his embarrassing moment while he was working at his mother's cafe none of them minding about the time , it was a little "our" time for them
"It was so embarassing, that girl almost sue me" Hanbin says as he hides his face out of embarrassment
"No but why would you pull someone skirt?"
"It was stuck between her buttcheeks , i couldn't help it" Hanbin says as he huff from frustration
"But she's a girlll"
"I didn't have time to process that , I saw it, did it yea that's it"
"You're hilarious I swear" Matthew slap Hanbin arms as he laugh
"Enough now , look it's already 3 in the morning we should sleep" Hanbin says look at the clock
"Oh...time goes so fast" matthew says making Hanbin nod
"Ok wait do Cupid sleep?" Hanbin ask earning a slap from Matthew
"I don't even know if you're too smart or too dumb like I have a bed for a reason"
"I didn't know you even have a bed!"
"Who don't?" Matthew ask and look at Hanbin weirdly making Hanbin shrug , Matthew just roll and his and walk to the couch
"What are you doing?" Hanbin ask confused "sleeping ofcourse" Matthew shrug and get on the couch making Hanbin immediately walk up to him
"No no nah , i ain't making my guest sleep on the couch , u sleep on the bed I'll sleep here" Hanbin says and also get on the couch
"No , it's your bed beside it's more comfortable here"
"If you don't sleep on the bed then I'll cut off Hao hyung" Hanbin says making Matthew shock , unable to talk
"Now be a good child and go to the bed" matthew nod and went towards the bed not saying anything ,well he was mumbling something prolly sulking ,God knows what
They both were sleeping and there was a very peaceful silence, only some soft breathing of theirs and bird chirping could be heard , matthew feels like home , he suddenly get emotional he doesn't even know why , this trigger his thoughts, maybe in his life while he was a human he live somewhere like this? Guess he'll never know because every cupid forgets everything about their pass life as humans and there was no way to find out since they don't know if their names were real or not or made by the head cupid ,no-one knows
"Hanbin Hyung?"
"Hmm?"
"Is it ok if I shoot you with Hao tomorrow?" Matthew ask making Hanbin sit up and look at Matthew who's eyes were sparkling and look deep in thought
"Already?" Hanbin ask as matthew nod , Matthew was scared because if he keep staying with Hanbin like this , it will turned out to be the worst thing possible, matthew is putting himself,not only him but hanbin too at a great risk
"What will happen if you do?"
"You'll fall for him day by day harder and harder...if he's meant for you It'll last forever and then I can finally leave...like you wanted" Matthew says emotionlessly and was trying his best to not cry or shutter
Why was he so scared to leave Hanbin and why was it starting to be hard for him to talk about Hao and Hanbin falling in love when his the one setting them up , this was wrong Matthew knew and he also knows he needs to leave fast
"I-im not ready...I wanna get to know if he will be the one for me" Hanbin says in a whisper making Matthew nod
Matthew turn around , clinging to the blanket
"Goodnight hyung"
"Goodnight Seokmae"
