Life and Its Truths #-God Is Love

They're always there in my pain

They're always there when my strength life does drain

They're present in my downtime

Never absent in my outcries

In pity parties, they're right in time

Always wanting to be first in line

Leisure is always at bay

As long as something sad I have to say

They're at my beck and call

As long as my problems to them I haul

They listen to me in their free time

So out to their friends my sad tales can they mime

My sadness becomes a story; one for ages to tell

From bad to worse; that's the step I fell

Willing with me always to weep

While wickedness between their cries creep

They enjoy my tales of sorrow

From ages past till tomorrow

If my tears should stop flowing

There are more reasons to fear they would throw in

It seems to my ears encouragement ring

But soon I discovered that still yet pain they bring

Many times they make me cry

Taking time to feed me with lies

Looking back I can see how foolish I'd been

Listen to their words in a way that seems keen

Now I sit and take time, to reflect

Finding out each point and its defect

Suddenly I see what they've made of me

A gossip topic; yes a public clown indeed

I think and now I discover

That rumors about me hover

Ones that unveil the lips of mockery

Ones that expose their thoughts so haughty

It breaks my heart to think that those who say they care

Are the ones propagating gossip in the air

In my joyful times, they disappear

Look for them and it'll be like they vanished into thin air

It is heartbreaking and enough to break my soul

But He keeps my eyes focused on the goal

Though I refrain from despair

My thoughts and feelings I have to share

Because you never know

The one who is in the same situation wallows

And tries to swallow the guilt and shame

That has been tagged on one's name

Take heart, my friend, the world is cruel

But we must not result to acts which are mean and brutal

The good book says not to return evil for evil

Even since medieval times

Despite all our nights in which we sorrow

He's going to replace it with joy on the 'morrow

Instead of shame, double honor

Girded in His heavenly armor

He will send strangers to feed our flocks

We wouldn't have to reach the docks

Even more than that, He said He's with us till the ends of the earth

In fact, He was with us at every moment, in every breath

Even when we thought He was far away and our pleas fell on deaf ears

He was always listening and working out a way to wipe our tears

In the valley wherein we walked in and the shadow of death lay

He was with us as fire by night and cloud by day

Every dog has its day truly

Soon the lands in which we dwell will flow with milk and honey

He's promised us riches without sorrow

If only Him we will follow

The path is always greener on His side

However, flows in the tide

In due season, He says, we shall bring forth fruit

In deep waters shall lay our roots

Success from the Good Book

Shall be seen in our lives every cranny and nook

His, we will always be

Surely, In Him, we are saved and redeemed

We are a chosen generation

A royal priesthood, a holy nation

Yes we are His beloved

In Him, we are blessed

If you came across this writing

I want you to know to know that I'm smiling

As He shines his light upon me and I prophesy

With Him, losing will never be your portion even till six feet under you lie!
