Behind the story

• The story behind writing this epistolary is that. It is dedicated to someone I met in Bumble, named Mark. I developed a huge crush on him kahit umabot lang ng 1 week yung pag-uusap namin. Our conversation went smoothly hindi nga lang talaga nag tagal #ghosted.

Last february before valentines I messaged him using my dump acc to confess, silly 'no? Hindi naman kami ganun katagal nagkakilala at nagka-usap pero grabe yung attachment ko sa kanya. We talked about it, he said he appreciated me pero hanggang dun lang yun HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I thought may meaning pa pero wala na pala. So, I just shrugged it off sabi ko na lang sa sarili ko at least I tried diba? Wala naman akong pinagsisihan.

• I wrote this story for fun and to feed my delulu self HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. So, si Mark sa story at si Mark in real life ay malayong-malayo sa isa't-isa. I just use him as an inspiration for this story. Also, I wrote this story kasi ito talaga yung nagbalik ng creative juices ko. I was on haitus for a year kasi I was experiencing writer's block and insecurities then good thing Mark happened. Sabi ko sa sarili ko "Try ko 'tong gawin baka dito bumalik yung creative juices ko." And bumalik nga naman HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA. I'm not expecting na mababasa niya ito kaya malakas ang loob ko HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA to Mark I want to say na Thank you kasi naging way ka para bumalik ako sa pagsusulat.

• My goal on writing Just One Swipe is to bring a realistic scenario lalong-lalo na sa mga taong may nakikilala sa dating app HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I hope this story teaches you a lesson about meeting someone in dating app.
