The Regretful Fate

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

You were my lover,

But you kind of hated me too.

I stayed by your side when your days were rough,

But where were you when I needed you?

Was I just too tough for you to think I can be weak?

Was it that I was to clingy,

Was it alone time you wished to seek?

I'm sorry even though you are to blame

You stabbed me in my heart

I wouldn't call me lame

Was this all a joke?

Some kind of art?

Well I guess you're a hoax,

And I'll have to restart.

Guilt

What is guilt?

Is it slowly patching, like a mother making a quilt?

Is it an attack?

I think it's when you decide to stab someone in the back.

Guilt is a funny thing

It's like a panther ready to spring

Or like a honey bee ready to sting.

Without any bad things it'd go away with a 'ping!'

Alas we live in a broken world

Kind of like a broken pearl

We swirled we hurled and whirled

Until we smashed together in a very confused curl.

And we could have our world fixed

If we weren't all transfixed

On being bitches that exist

Being sweary and weary

We could've had tea and berries

But we've gone a long ways from Christ

Making it hard to stand while iced.

Favorite song

I know what makes you happy

I don't know why I'm not helpful

I can make you smile quick and snappy

I know you need it, It's quite healthful.

We were lovers at first but you shut me out
