In days of old, I grasped just a few,
Happy, scared, angry—emotions I knew.
Life felt confined, like a palette so plain,
But now I see colors, a vibrant terrain. From fiery anger, a storm that rages,
Boredom's slow burn, flipping pages.
Disappointment's weight, regret's sad song,
And frustration's fire, burning strong.Awe, like lightning striking from the blue,
Curiosity's spark, igniting what's true.
Confusion swirls, like a puzzle unsolved,
Wonder's dance, in mysteries evolved.Contempt cuts deep, like daggers of ice,
Disgust and hate, an eternal vice.
Shame's heavy cloud, darkening skies,
Guilt's echoing whispers, no compromise.But there's self-compassion, a gentle embrace,
Humiliation's shadow, a fleeting trace.
Embarrassment's blush, like a rose's bloom,
A symphony of feelings, filling the room.Belonging and loneliness, two sides of a coin,
Connection's warmth, dispelling the join.
Insecurity's grip, like a thorny vine,
Hopelessness looms, a mountain to climb.Sadness, like raindrops, falls from above,
Despair's heavy fog, an endless cove.
Envy's green fire, jealousy's sting,
Resentment's fire, a bitter thing.Stress and anxiety, a whirlwind's might,
Excitement's blaze, igniting the night.
And when tranquility reigns, calm and serene,
Joy, like a wildfire, a radiant sheen.Contentment, a river that flows in grace,
Gratitude's spark, lighting up the space.
Through this emotion-filled journey I tread,
Navigating the firestorms, heart and soul led.
