A month went by as peter as the spirit of vengence began to clense the world from evil, it wasn't just new york but the entire universe have come to either fear, respect or praise him for his actions, some saw him as a god even though he had denied it and said he was simply a spirit of vengence who heard the cries of the innocent. Entire groups like the hellfire club, hydra , the friends of humanity and modock were driven to near extinction as every single member from those highest in command to the lowest were driven to near extinction and punished with fates worse than death.
The creator of the sentinels for example was turned into a mutant whose power was simply to be immortal and come back from death no matter what, after that he was thrown into a reality were sentinels destroyed humanity and is now being killed by them for eternity in many different ways.
Even some mutants and inhumans whose crimes were not that severe were punished but not by death, they simply lost there mutant gene and powers and no matter what they could not have them back, this drove them to being kicked out of their homes and now knew what it was to be discriminated against.
