Yn's POV:

I've been ignoring Charlie for a week now because what I said was embarrassing and for what he said but he's been trying to talk to me I've just been pushing past him or walking the other way when I see him and even for lunch I couldn't face any of them I went to the bathroom and never ate lunch

Like right he tried talking to me but I looked at him and pushed past him again

Yn come on! Charlie says as I keep pushing past him so he grabs my hand

Stop ignoring me you can't push me away forever Yn look I get your upset about me picking you over Mo to get rid of but Yn please understand I-I didn't mean to hurt your feelings Charlie says looking down at me with guilt in his eyes

I finally decided to say something

Look Charlie we'll you did and there's nothing you could change about that so okay you hurt my feelings like you didn't even hesitate to choose me to get rid of I said looking at him

Yn I know okay I messed up okay but don't think I forgot about what you said in the elevator about you being in love with me Charlie says looking down at me

I was laying in bed watching tv

It went silent for a second

Yn you can't avoid him forever my guardian says

I looked at my guardian and they did have a point

I didn't let him speak and even before I told him he said he has a crush on Mo I said looking down

You heard me and I'll tell him you're not here My guardian says walking out of my room but stopping at the door

They just nodded their heads walking out of my room closing the door behind them

10 minutes later I heard knocking on my window because I had a tree house outside of my room

Yn! I know you're home and nice try trying to get you're guardian to lie to me I see you're tv lights on Charlie says

I instantly turned off the tv

Yn come on dude don't be like that Charlie says

I roll my eyes and made my sure the curtains are all the way closed

Yn you didn't even let me talk Charlie says

I just keep ignoring him

Alright if you wanna be like that be like that I'm gonna stay out here until you open this window Charlie says and now it sounds like he's sitting down I peaked through the curtains and saw him sitting down leaning against the tree

I just shrugged my shoulders and went back to sit on my bed and turned back on the tv

Skip to 15 minutes later Charlie is still here up in my tree house just waiting for me to open the window for him but I'm not

You know Yn you haven't talked to me in weeks and I miss you yk I wish I never said that now Charlie says chuckling sadly

I paused the tv

And from what you said in the elevator you didn't even give me time to speak you know you never know if I feel the same way for you Charlie says

I looked down at my fingers

And the band misses you Charlie says

My family dose to because you're always at my house and I'm always at yours like there's never a day we don't hang out this is the longest we've been away from each other... Charlie says sadly

I didn't realize what I had for a best friend until you were gone and I'm sorry for that Charlie says

I don't realize I had somebody I love and care for with all my heart Charlie says my eyes widened

Look I'm gonna go Yn I've been here for about 20 minutes now and you still haven't opened the window but goodbye Yn have a good rest of your night Charlie says I could hear him getting up

And before he left I heard him say something else

Just think about what I said okay because I mean everything I'm saying right now and talk to me when the times right Charlie says and I hear him climbing off the tree house I feel my eyes turning glossy I looked out the curtain and saw him running home and he looked back and I immediately ducked

Maybe I am the one being dramatic

Maybe I'm the problem I thought as tears slipped down my cheeks

This the first time of me crying to this situation

I'm gonna think about what he said

And I'm gonna think about what my guardian said too

Because again I didn't lose my feelings for Charlie because I'm still in love with him and even if he doesn't feel the same way he's still my best friend

I went back to my bed and cried myself to sleep
