"Miss Lopez, I am not pleased by your performance in the meeting earlier."

Napatungo na lang ako sinabi ni Mr. Fulgencio, he is the President and the CEO of the company I am currently employed. May katandaan na din kasi kaya medyo masungit at mataas din ang standard niya when it comes to presentations, and this is not the first time na napagsabihan niya ako. Mukhang tama ang sinabi ni Kylie na pinag-iinitan ako ng CEO. Everyone in that meeting was satisfied and amused with my performance, nakumbinsi ko din ang mga investors na mag-invest sa company, kaya 'di ko maintindihan kung bakit ganito ang reaksyon niya.

"I am sorry, Sir. I'll try to do better next time." Nakatungong sabi ko.

"You know what, Miss Lopez? I am not paying you and letting you work here in my company just to disappoint me, like what you always do. You know that I am a man with high standards, I deserve the best quality of work. Hindi ko pa nakita ang best mo, I don't think that you deserve your position. It doesn't mean napa-payag mo ang investors ay impressed na din ako sa'yo. Your presentation was trash." Walang kagatol-gatol na sabi niya, kaya napabuntong-hininga na lang ako para pigilan ang namumuong galit sa dibdib ko. Fuck, ako pa disrespectful?!

"I don't like you too. Sa ating dalawa, ikaw ang nang-unang nambastos. Expect my resignation letter this afternoon. Hindi ko kayang magtrabaho sa manyakis na tulad mo." Sabi ko sabay talikod sa kaniya at lumabas ng office niya. Narinig ko pa ang sigaw niya mula sa loob na tinatawag ako ng kung ano-anong mga salitang 'di ko na nais marinig.
