The tempo of the fight changed dramatically, it was unrecognizable if compared to how the fight looked a few moments ago. It's was true that Y/n was able to overpower Todoroki before, but it was never this drastically as it was now. He couldn't do more than send the biggest attacks from both of his sides, but it didn't took more than a wave of Y/n's hand for her to scatter his attacks into tiny pieces.
Then Todoroki noticed that she was closing the range so he went onto a defensive stance as he felt completely overwhelmed at how the fight suddenly turned out, yet the moment he wanted to attack her as she was right in front of him she caught him of guard again as she suddenly got lower on her legs and using the speed that she was moving in she used the gap between his legs and slid to the other side just to swiftly sweep him of his feet.
She grabbed his left wrist and stepped onto his right shoulder pinning him to the ground. In response Todoroki tried to release more of his fire out of his left side but she absorbed the fire making him stunned, but before he could ask what she did, she hissed. „You're making me disinterested." Her eyes felt cold but somehow filled with desperation. „The reason why I'm still fighting is to have fun, so fucking give it to me! I know you're smart, so outwit me! If you can't win with just raw power then use your damned brain!"
He widened his eyes at her words that for some reason absurdly differed from her earlier ones that seemed to be simply out of her amusement. But somehow her words made him more determined to fight, so he mustered all his strength in his right arm and grabbed Y/n's leg in attempt to freeze it at which the moment Y/n noticed she moved almost to late as frost started to creep up her leg, but eventually she backed away from him hopeful that he'll get more creative with his attacks since otherwise things could go south.
