It was late at night on March 2nd 2001,
Tony Stark was patiently waiting outside the delivery room as Pepper Potts - his long term on-and-off girlfriend was giving birth when he heard a small but clear cry. Thats when one of the nurses called him inside and he saw someone he knew would turn his life around.
The nurse softly smiled as she carefully handed him his little girl and he vowed to himself that he would protect her with his life.
"Hey little one,"
The man looked at his daughter lovingly,adoring her for a moment until-
"What do you want to name her?"
Pepper finally asked breaking the silence.
The 31-year-old thought about the list of names they had picked out.
"Gwendolyn,Gwendolyn Maria."the now father whispered loudly enough for her to hear.
"Has a nice ring to it.Dont you think?"he said.
"I like the sound of it.We could even call her Gwen for short."She answered him as she looked at her little daughter with love.
That was the day Tony Stark had decided that he would do anything for his little daughter in his arms.
