With their resolves hardened, and now at their current peak of their powers, Lucius and Neuvillette hop out of the weird portal and find themselves in an almost-infinite area with a starry night sky. From below, they seem to be standing on purple-coloured water as they see the shadow of the Narwhal swimming down below them.
Lucius: What's the plan, Neuvillette?
Neuvillette: I have already done my best to separate the power of the Primordial Sea from the Whale, but considering the size of the beast, I cannot reach the power's source... Unless... we can find a way to attack it from within. I shall share a part of the ancient dragons' power with you. We shall look for an opening together.
Lucius: Seems like we'll need to trigger its hostility then.
Neuvillette: And how do you propose we do that?
Lucius: It's simple... we hurt the big bastard.
From below, the shadow gets bigger, signifying its approach to the surface.
Lucius: Move!
Lucius orders as he and Neuvillette leap out of the way.
*BWOOOF*
The Narwhal rises from the surface with an audible splash as it twists its body and begins falling towards Lucius.
Lucius: ("Rise... spikes!")
Lucius slams his hands together, as multiple black-coloured Geo spikes rise up around him as he dashes away from the impact site.
With the Narwhal already on its descent, it couldn't stop itself as it bodyslams itself onto the spikes, causing its body to be pierced multiple times at once.
*GRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA*
Lucius: Neuvillette!
Neuvillette: Right!
Hydro bubbles form around him before they each fire off a beam of water that pierces the Narwhal, as it breaks off from the Geo spikes and plunges down into the water.
It swims around for a few seconds before it re-emerges, swimming along the surface as something shoots upwards from its back.
Neuvillette: Watch the crystals above, Lucius!
Lucius: Roger that!
Lucius activates flight while taking out Mistsplitter Reforged. While in mid-air, he moves around erratically to dodge the crystal shower, with occasionally slashing the few crystals that get too close. Meanwhile Neuvillette simply creates a water dome around himself to stay protected.
With these two distracted, the Narwhal appears from above, having gone through a portal and is falling down towards Lucius, who notices a looming shadow over him.
Neuvillette: Lucius!
Neuvillette shouts as he rushes over to the Narwhal at breakneck speed, due to his newfound powers. From Lucius's point of view, a stream of blue flashes by and slams onto the Narwhal, diverting its fall away from Lucius.
*BOOM*
Such an impact even causing a sound, similar to an explosion.
Lucius: Woah... so this is the power of a Sovereign.
Neuvillette: Now the tides shall beckon.
A large sigil appears before Neuvillette before it unleashes a torrent of water right at the Narwhal's body, with the force of the beam being enough to pierce through the Narwhal.
