A Jori ending

Mangos

Jade: Tori told me about her dream about being on the beach at sunset I guess I didn't plant a good image in my mind I dreamed in vivid colors something  I rarely do I dreamed of Tori and me running on the beach like we don't have a care in the world I dreamt that Tori falls back onto me and we land in the sand watching the sunset just for me to look over at the heart we carved from sand is cover in Tori's blood staining it red. I wake up suddenly and look around where's Tori I grab a shirt as I don't bother to put one on last night I open my door I look around the house I can't find her I check every room she isn't here I'm about to freak out when the front door opens and Tori comes inside

Tori: "Hi sleepy head"

Jade: "Oh hi Tori there you are" I sigh in relief

Tori: "Well I went to the smoothie shop and got smoothies for breakfast"

Jade: "Thanks"

Tori: "No problem"  Tori says handing me my orange smoothie

Jade: "Hey this is mango"

Tori: "Yup"

Jade: "You remembered"

Tori: "Yah it's your favorite tropical fruit after all who could forget"

Jade: I chuckle "I guess that's something you can't forget" we drink our smoothies and lay on the couch watching some Spanish show for a few hours. I keep staring at Tori I was so worried the thoughts that came into my mind. That she stepped into traffic or she jumped of a bridge am I worrying over nothing? She seems better when it's just us I think she likes change in place her house almost has a toxic air one that's judgmental based on lies and mistreatment. We stay on the couch for hours occasionally talking about some random video or something we saw. Tori falls asleep cuddle up against me under a blanket. I have my arm around her shoulder just feeling like I'm being charged with her warmth. I guess I'm so mesmerized by Tori that I don't realize the front door opened and my mother had walked through

Jades mom: "Hello Jade"

Jade: "Ah mom"

Jades mom: "I'm not gonna be staying away for days at a time anymore so get use to me being here" my mom sits on the chair next to the couch closest to me "Is she sleeping?" She says pointing to Tori

Jade: "Um yah"

Jades mom: looks at my arm around Tori's shoulder "You smiled Jade"

Jade: "What?"

Jades mom: "When I walked in you were smiling at Tori"

Jade: "So?"

Jades mom: "Tori is a special friend isn't she"

Jade: "I guess since when you so interested in my life"

Jades mom: "Tori doesn't strike me as a person to get mad at people"

Jade: "Mother your not making any sense what are you talking about?"

Jades mom: "She got mad at me last night"

Jade: "So? I did as-well"

Jades mom: "Your naturally judgmental and rude it's in your blood but it's clear that it isn't in Tori's"

Jade: "What do you mean by that?"

Jades mom: "Well it's obvious she cares a lot for you as it's not in her nature to act like that. It shows  she wants to protect you. Jade you can tell a lot by a person and their actions like when I said Tori was on honor role I saw you roll your eyes you were wondering why I seemed to care but I don't pay attention to you am a right?"

Jade: "I guess?"

Jades mom: "I didn't know Tori was on honor role but her mannerisms and presentation makes it all point to she cares about her grades at least a little. Knowing how to read people is important as then you can shift and use it to help you even more with acting out different things when you want to be pro trade in a different light. Jade you and me have a lot in common I think that's why we don't always like each other very much. We are different people but we have similarities you act on stage while I act in life. I act different around each person I see and I feel like it's hard to act as a mother as it's not a one fit role there are many selections."

Jade: "Why do you need to act?"

Jades mom: "Why do you need to hide" with that jades mom walks into her bedroom
